I love Johnny Depp. Don Juan DeMarco, Edward Scissorhands etc

I agree.  I think he's a wonderful actor.

Well, I'm leaving work...and it's so early!  I just got back from an eye appointment (no change in my prescription) and they dilated my eyes.  But I can't focus on anything up close, even my computer screen (this is all very blurry).  Since I have so much sick leave, I'm leaving and going to my sister's house to watch TV on her high definition TV!  That's far enough away. ;D

If you want to be fair, I suppose you'd have to ask who is interested in a specific title, give a deadline to tell you they are interested and then have a lottery if there are more interested than you have copies. It would be a pain in the butt, but it would be fair. Or there's always first come first serve

Thanks Edi, but with 9 hours a day of classes, I don't think I'll be spending much time outside the hotel

I have to figure out what to pack tonight. The meetings are always in cold rooms and it's hot outside.  I really don't plan to do much but go to class and study. I know that's boring, but it's also very necessary right now.

RE: tonight's DANCING WITH THE STARS RESULTS.

spoilers.

I'm not going to say who went. But it's starting to bug me that the judges votes don't matter.  If they want to be like american idol and have america decide then do that. But to make it seem like the judges decide 50% is so misleading.

The highest judges vote was 50/60 (50divided by 660 total judge votes = 7.7%). The lowest judge vote was something like 34/60 (34divided by 660=5.2% of judges votes. So that is only 2% difference. So basically the least popular celebs will go.

I guess eventually the public will vote for the most talented. But in the first few rounds the lesser known celebs (paulina, shandi ...) will go. And athletes who have many fans stay (even if they are not that good). IMO clyde (basketball player) was the weakest.

RE: tonight's IDOL.

SPOILERS

Um, IDOL has gwen stefani and DANCING WITH THE STARS has dionne warwick????

My favorite is still blake. He is the only one i have liked from the start who has never disappointed me. Although that said, i was a bit surprised he did not beat box tonight (since gwen mentioned she wondered how he'd do it).

I have really grown to like jordin a lot in the past 2 weeks (after not really caring either way for her before). But i was not overly fond of her performance tonight. I did not like what she was wearing. And i thought the song did not show off her voice.

Lakisha was my favorite woman. But i am not as interested in her anymore. She does the same performance every week. And while she is a great singer, i don't know if i would want to see her perform song after song.

Sanjaya. OMG that hair was atrocious. I really hope he goes this week.

Chris S. I did like him after hollywood. But i'm liking him less and less each week.

The judges loved gina. But i just don't get her. She was good tonight. BUt she's just not one of my faves.

I am curious who will go this week. I would imagine melinda, lakisha, jordin and blake would be safe.  I suppose eventually haley will have to go. I liked phil better this week. So i don't think he will go this week.

Before I left work tonight, I told my managers that tomorrow for me would be like when winter weather is predicted.  I'll get up at my usual time, get ready for work, but wait for the email notification that the water is back on in our building before going in to work.  It may end up costing me another vacation day, but the idea of 100+ people having access to only one (outdoor) bathroom is GROSS.

Well I should think about packing. Not a lot to pack - definitely carry on. Only I forgot about the plastic little stuff, hmmm, I better go check and see if I need to run to the store tonight.
