I'm pleased to hear that :), though I still don't understand why you paiinted boring colors in the first place.  Were you too rushed to do test samples?

I painted the kitchen DH's choice, as per our agreement to move the light fixture outlet up. However, as the light fixture outlet is now encased in the wall, I have repainted in the color of my choice.

LOL-The reason the color is no longer boring-got it.  So what color is it now?

DR BrettySpaghetti, when one doesn't feel well around here, one can say, "Boy, I feel rotten today." Then we all send feel-better vibes.

Feel better vibes for DR BrettySpaghetti!

Dear Reader Laure, I think you are spending way too much time looking at your kitchen walls...but I am glad they are no longer boring (unless that means you are hallucinating or something).

DR BrettySpaghetti - Well, the gravy for the Pounded Steak at Musso & Frank is know to have to restorative powers, so...

Although, a martini with the bleu cheese olives would also probably do the trick.

So...

Spamalot opened just over two years ago on Broadway.  The OCR has been out for almost the same amount of time.  The Vocal Selections have also been available for a while...

So, you are most definitely not the first person to come in with "Find Your Grail".  And don't be disappointed when you find out the people behind the table aren't impressed by the fact that you are actually going to perform the song.

...And, please, please, please, don't try to sound like Sara Ramirez when your voice and vocal range comes no where near Ms. Ramirez's instrument.

DR Cillaliz - Could you PM me a current mailing address?  You may have a small parcel coming your way.  I'm just not sure whether to send it to your home or to your office.

I am now in my lovely Burbank hotel room, 5th floor view. The rooms here are very nice and this is the second time I have stayed here.

Despite the fact that they did not have the refrigerator in the room as I had requested and the garbage can was full of garbage and there was a dirtly plate sitting in the desk...but my Buddhists teaching are telling me to accept it all. LOL!

Now I think I will drive over and see my friend Arun at Camille's Sidewalk Cafe and eat and then hie myself to Sunset Blvd in Hollywood where hope to do some major shopping at Amoeba Records

And I did indeed meet DR Musicguy at the airport. He located me in the luggage area and gave me a big ole HHW hug! It was very nice to see such a handsome and friendly face upon my arrival. If he can get in touch with BK we may have a mini HHW get together for breakfast in the morning.

Ok, now I must forage for food.

DR JoseSPiano, you truly are the energizer bunny...

Or a timex watch.

Amazing!

Well... Actually... Frankly, I think I'm getting a little burned out right now.  It truly has been non-stop for the past couple of weeks - ever since my trip down to Atlanta for SETCs.  I'm booked for a couple of audition days next week, and I'm thinking of "exchanging" one or two of them for a "mental health day".  Especially if All About Us does end up extending.  (Which, hopefully, we will find about tomorrow.)

I had planned to head out to dinner tonight with a friend, but after the day of auditions, all I really wanted was a nice walk, a cookie, and a quiet evening at home.

I have the last week of May totally free right now, and since I haven't seen Alexandra, John Michael, Alyssa and Emily in a while, I'll probably going to head down to Fairfax for a couple of days.  -And I'm missing Emily's - my god-daughter - first birthday party this coming weekend, so...

And then there was the young gentleman who was in the second group...  He brought in a nice arrangement of "Real Live Girl".  A sort of up tempo.  Alas, all of his pages were "loose", and printed on "cheaper", flimsy copy paper.  I ended up grabbing a couple of the pages and placing them on top of the piano so that I could read them - and so that they would not keep falling off - while he was singing, while I was playing.

Alas, he seemed to oblivious to my efforts to ensure that he had a good audition (experience).  -And he also had the rest of his "book" with him.  In a binder.  ???

Maybe you don't look trustworthy.

The fortune in my cookie said “well made plans bring satisfactory results”.   I hope it isn’t referring to my upcoming trip to collect Craig.  If so then that is not a good fortune.  A good fortune would be “poorly made plans bring satisfactory results”
