TOO POOPED TO POP
« on: April 25, 2007, 12:16:26 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were pooped and popped (I've used this title before, but I'm too pooped to pop and change it), and now it is time for you to post until the too pooped to pop cows come home.

Now to finish Lost Horizon, the musical.  This appears to be the cut version of the film, despite the menu saying it runs 2 hours and 30 minutes - I think it will end up at two hours and five minutes.

Good morning, all!  I am quite tired today, but I must needs show up at Toyland to await the arrival of two Fed Ex packages.

After such a full and exciting day as yesterday, today shold be quite low-key.

Look after your health DR Elmore and be careful not to trip over any toys.  Good morning.  Bedtime in OZ.
(And the notes were appreciated and interesting).

Good Morning to all. I expect Mr. Tom is soon off to bed and Mr. Sing will be off to perhaps a conference call on mute  :D

Nice reports of last night's festivities.

I guess some of the old steakhouses in New York are similar to Musso and Frank

Wednesday morning greetings!  It's dreary and drizzly here in SW Ohio.  I'm at work.

Happiest of birthdays to DR Joey!

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I'm having a nice, leisurely morning.

I was thinking about heading down to Chelsea to get my hair cut this morning, but I found myself doing too much math in my head - how long would the train trip downtown take, how long would the hair cut take, how long would the train trip back up, how much time would I need before I head to the train, etc. - so, I just took a couple of deep breaths and decided to stay put this morning.  I can get my hair cut tomorrow morning.  -When I don't have a train to catch in a few hours.  *And I'm catching up on last night's "Idol" courtesy of the DVR.  :)

It  would appear that BK is not the only person who is too pooped to pop.  Almost 9:30 (right-coast time) and barely a dozen  posts.

DR singdaw - As for tonight...  The matinee comes down at 4:15-ish, so... Shall we just say 5:00?  Or even 5:30 depending where you want to go for dinner?

Even though it is after 6:30 a.m. here in Tacoma, I am not at work.  Nor have I showered nor have I dressed.  I seem to be suffering a major emotional meltdown this morning.  In addition, not one, but both of the kids are sick this morning.

Oh... I don't think I ever responded to yesterday's Topic of the Day...

Alas, I really don't remember the specifics of my first internet experiences.  I was with Prodigy for a while, then switched to AOL somewhere along the line.  I did subscribe to rec.arts.theater.musicals for a few months, but there were too many fluff posts about Les Miz and Phantom for my taste.  I still subscribe to the Sondheim listserv, and will go through phases where I go into posting mode there - but it's been a while.  And I guess that's about it for now.

Wednesday morning greetings!  It's dreary and drizzly here in SW Ohio.  I'm at work.

Alas, after a sunny morning here in NYC, the rain is supposed to make a reappearance here this afternoon and evening.

Don't forget your umbrellas!

And, yes, DR MBarnum, thanks for posting the pics from last night's West Coast gathering - and remembering to bring your camera!  Hope you were able to get a good night's sleep.  Enjoy your pancakes!

Good morning. It's still raining here.  We had about 2 inches of rain yesterday and it seems to still be raining that hard.   I am loving it.
