Oh, I know, George; but I enjoy the abuse.

Sounds like a personal problem, then. ::)

I watched BOSTON LEGAL from last night. A rather silly case, but always good to see the Jerry Espinson character and a beautiful scene between him and Alan near the end. Shatner was hilarious last night.

The Mark Valley-Julie Bowen storyline is so dull. Even the writers don't seem invested in it.

AARRGGHH!!  I haven't even watched last week's episode!  Fortunately, it's still on the DVR.

This WAS last week's episode deflected to this week due to the Virginia Tech killings.

I would be fine with a Melinda-Jordin-Phil final three. It seems obvious to me that the judges are really behind Jordin now. She's young, has a big voice, and sparkles. She's a diamond in the rough as far as I'm concerned, but they seem to have gotten into her corner in the last three weeks and tend to overlook her flaws in singing her praises.

And I think she does have the second best voice on the show. I think the judges (and the producers) feel she's going to fit their target audience more than Melinda or Phil would.

Since I cleaned the den this morning, I'm heading down now to fire up the old home theater again to do some more viewing. If the Bond DVDs haven't come (haven't checked the mail since coming upstairs), I'll watch MY GAL SAL off the DVR.

The scuttlebutt I've been reading on the internet suggests that the "major shocker" that Ryan Seacrest promised tonight will be that no one will be eliminated tonight in keeping with the mood of charity and positive vibes.

That would mean, of course, that two people will get the boot next week.

Back from the jog - now I don't feel so guilty about this morning's short stack.  I'll have a very light dinner - just a sandwich at Art's, where I'm having a meeting.

Well I'm about to make some sort of bean soup. Wish me luck. The beans are ready to be cooked and so cooked they shall be.

Good luck Cilla.  I'm sure it will taste better than what the hospital is feeding Keith's mother.  The good news is they have put her on solid food.  The bad news is she is hardly eating any of it because it taste so bad.

Right Jose, big hills.  ;D It isn’t like driving the mountain roads here.  I forgot I need to take a map & that I might not have cell service to call Keith (my usual source for directions while driving).  I don’t have AAA, maybe I can get a map when I pick up the car.

These are the Damned....I have only seen it on an afternoon movie program MANY MANY years ago.  It is the first movie I remember seeing Oliver Reed in, but I liked him very much.

Is this DVD a Region One DVD that is being released, or are we being deprived again here in the US of A?  I can't find anything about it on the Internet.

She used a Magic Marker and stood behind a glass map of Indiana and had to write the numbers backwards so we could see them!  Her daughter Kit was Miss Indiana one year...   ;D

What I'm wondering is....will the word "incandescent" disappear from the language?

"She's incandescent" simply won't mean anything any more....!
