And now for the photographic evidence.....

Unlike BK, I did not think that Erik Estrada looked bad at all...in fact I thought he was still darn hot looking...and I told Erik so!

Unfortunately, the photo of the two of us is pretty darn bad...but here it is anyhow....

By the way, I vote Erik Estrada as being one of THE nicest celebrities I have ever met...he took great care to make each person who came to get an autograph or take a photo with him to feel very special...he joked with them, made sure they were pleased with the photos, just really seemed like he apprecated his fans. Very, very classy.....and sexy (he looks much, much better than that photo above)

Frankly, I hope they're doing the "real" Cabaret and not the revival, which I'm not that fond of.

Guest is gone - I decided to dine home and have made myself a nice, big steak.

Well, unless the company gets - and pays for - special permission to present the Sam Mendes/Rob Marshall version, they will most likely be presenting the original 1966 version or the 1987 revival version.

Another very sweet and classy person...Ms. Juliet Mills....she was very easy to chat with. I also bought her book.

JRAnd56...she has very fond memories of Rad Fulton, by the way.

DR JoseSPiano - Since they didn't do much for the company at the opening, are they at least going to do something nice for you tomorrow night?

Well, they did have a nice - but crowded - reception for everyone up in the lobby - and they even set aside a table of food just for the "artists".  Alas, I was sick that night, and cut out early and headed to the hotel for the evening.

Tomorrow night, there is supposed to be a champagne toast after the show.  And then it's back on the vans to New York City.  Some people are planning a little extra partying at the Dressing Room, but I think I'll be heading home when the vans leave.  -I'm just not in the mood to take the midnight train back to NYC.

However, we do have a between-show meal tomorrow, and I'm sure that will also function as part of our closing night festivities.

Is your face ever not shiny?

;)

-Although, I prefer to think of that as a "glow".

And are you sure that "glow" wasn't caused by your time with Erik Estrada?

And then there is Lorenzo Lamas, who you couldn't take a bad photo of if you tried!

Dear Denise:

I am so sorry to hear about your mother.
My thoughts are with you this evening.
I believe you did the right thing about taking her to the hospice and not telling.
Treasure the time you have left and the wonderful memories of the past that you two shared.
I wish I could say more.

Thanks for the edit on the last pic DR MBarnum. At my age I don't cope well with  shock.

My mother has lost her new car keys that she got just a few hours ago.

I had the ignition fixed today and got two bright shiny keys on a ring. Which I somehow misplaced. Amazing.

We found them on the driveway behind the car. I must have dropped them when I was bringing in groceries. I made sure my DH has one key, in case I do something stupid like that again.

Mr Henry Winkler...his autograph was very expensive...and it cost a lot to have your photo taken with him...but I think it all went to charity...and how often do you get to meet Fonzie, anyhow?

Thank you for all those pictures, DR MBarnum!

They make me feel OLD but nostalgic!
Ah, Miss Juliet Mills! Ah, Miss Sharon Baird!

And BK looks like he found a younger Dame Judy Dench!

Not a whole lot of celebrities this time around, but some pretty darn nice ones!

Oh, and when it got slow this afternoon (his line was non-stop for most of the day) Mr. Estrada came over and chatted for quite awhile with Laurie Mitchelll...she as swooning! LOL!

DR MBarnum - After looking at your pics, I think you need to investigate a new color palette for your clothing.  Something tells me you'd look quite dashing and even more hunky in some deep jewel tones, red and blue especially.  Maybe even purple and (emerald) green.

When you come to New York, I'll take you shopping.  ;)
