Congrats to DR CASON on his Cabaret venture!

He is so excited, jazzed, fired up about the role and the production -- so loving thanks to all you HHWers for your past, present, and continued support, cheers, and good vibes for him and his career.

I better get working on some things outside today. The temp today is supposed to be about 80 today and 90 tomorrow. Yikes! 90 is too hot for me.

This afternoon my tree guy is coming to give an estimate on removing some dead/rotting trees.  I'm a little concerned about how much it's going to cost, but it has to be done. The tree guy is a looker.  Paul said he used to have the nicest ass in town....my reaction was "used to?"

Thanks for all the photos, DR MBarnum.

Even with shiny face and unshaven, you're still devastating!

:)

DR MBarnum was indeed devastating -- those eyes, that smile, those charming dimples...and that DR MusicGuy (our host that Tuesday night for the HHW West Coast Bash -- thank you!! -- it was delightful) who is most debonair, and delectable eye candy (you're right, DR Edi) -- actually as I looked about, that entire HHW table was full of eye candy -- DRBarnum, DS Boo-Key, the wildy entertaining blonde bombshell Grand Pooh-Pah and the petite and pretty Miss Patti.  I have no doubt Bratty Spooghetti (as in oops I forgot, or oops I was abducted by aliens, or oops I...whatever ..) would have only added more to that confectionery evening.  (I hope the aliens have returned him after all the probing....).  Then I had the boys all to myself the next morning over pancakes (ooh-la-laah  ;)) which was hosted and presided over by our fearless leader -- thanks, BK!  I think the minutes should so note that the HHW West Coast Bash was a sparkling success and that "a good time was had by all ...except DR Spooghetti...")... Make that "great time" ...

Which means, I'd best get crackin'.  The other thing I'll do today or tomorrow is return whatever's left of the CDs to storage.

Off to do an errand or two and then to see LOVEMUSIK.  I hear the show is on the long side, even from people who love it.

Some people think the show is just Weill through and through, though.  Others like it a Lotte.

Miss Karen, when does Cason open in CABARET?  Can we expect another HHW gathering for opening night?

JA!! The run is three weekends -- end of June and first part of July ( I'm sure Case will be on here with all the dates and times and directions and ticket info, etc., etc. for all who are interested and able to attend).  Let's pack the house!!

JA!! The run is those first three weekends of July, so Friday, July 6th, would be opening night (I assume  -- but I'm sure Case will be on here with all the dates and times and directions and ticket info, etc., etc. for all who are interested and able to attend).  Let's pack the house!!

Well, personally Iwas hoping for THE FULL MONTY, but I am sure that CABARET will be almost as good.

And happy belated BD wishes to you, DR Sandra (shows you how errant and truant I've been here as of late at HHW).  Hope it was happy...or we could pretend these are early wishes for next year....

Yep....BOTH would have been nice, but he's taking CABARET happily, joyfully, and excitedly...

Speaking of THE FULL MONTY, and I was; our small-town newspaper posted their review of the local production of the show with a very unexpected photo (at least, for them).

DR Jane ~ How is DP Sherlock of the Giant Paws doing?  I'm sure there are updates in all the postings, but who knows how long it will take me to cover them all -- so I'm gonna cheat on this one and ask for a direct update...

For a small town paper, that IS unexpected (watch the letters to the editor to see if they catch any flack from their readers) -- or maybe the town has a lot of old hippies as residents....

Speaking of it actually being a Saturday, and gorgeous here in AZ today, I need to go work in the yard, unpack a suitcase, clean a house, edit a tape for a teen breakfast this week, etc., etc.  So I shouldn't be on here myself...how quickly that addiction grabs hold of ya and pulls ya back in...all that rehab down the drain...

Hello, DR Miss Karen!!!  We've missed you.  Glad the LA gathering was such a success.  You're too modest to include yourself, but that whole table was quite the attractive lot!  :)
