Some people think the show is just Weill through and through, though.  Others like it a Lotte.

Ah, THERE'S the DR FJL we all know and love!!  :)  :)  :)

Hello, DR Miss Karen!!!  We've missed you.  Glad the LA gathering was such a success.  You're too modest to include yourself, but that whole table was quite the attractive lot!  :)

Not only do they have looks, but wit, charm, and brains (they have it all -- very representative of the HHW family)...

There was something seriously wrong with that cheese I just ate.

Now I'm just trying to figure out how much I should keep the "relationship" going.  I really don't expect for Mr. Kander to recommend for jobs, actually, I just want to hang out with him every now and then.  The best times I've had with him so far have been when we haven't talked about the show or musical theatre.

That’s great.  Then simply spend time together when it’s convenient & comfortable for both of you.

DR Jane ~ How is DP Sherlock of the Giant Paws doing?  I'm sure there are updates in all the postings, but who knows how long it will take me to cover them all -- so I'm gonna cheat on this one and ask for a direct update...

Thank you for asking.  Until we return to the specialist on May 17th, I expect it will be pretty much the same.  Except for red & goopy eyes due to spring allergies, he feels fine & therefore is bored with just short walks & no play time.  Once in awhile we think he is limping again, but it is for such a brief moment we aren't sure.

Sandra do you feel ok?

Yeah. I think I just need a Cherry Coke to get rid of the taste. And maybe some pudding.

Back from shipping and jogging and also jogging and shipping.  I've decided not to go back to the Courts show today - so I save twenty-two bucks (with the parking).

I hate waiting for someone who says "I'll be there sometime in the afternoon". That is all.

I did plant the tomato, eggplant and sweet basil plants I bought last weekend.  The sun is pretty hot so they look a little wilty, but I think they will bounce back once they get used to being in a big pot on the front porch

Speaking of THE FULL MONTY, and I was; our small-town newspaper posted their review of the local production of the show with a very unexpected photo (at least, for them).

I also went for a walk. It wasn't a long walk but very steep hills. I'm thinking about doing the same walk this evening.  It's a start.

Actually, DR JoseSPiano, it's the Metro-North New Haven line.    :)

Ah, that's right.  I take the Hudson Line up to Poughkeepsie to Vassar for New York Stage & Film.

And their phraseology, too?

Well, after one of those very dry martinis, "phraseology" is non-existent.  Or at least non-capable.

Hi Jose!  I hope you get to continue your friendship with John Kander. I've only said hello to him a couple times, but he seemed very nice.

Saturday greetings!  I'm at work today, having taught the April edition of Grantseeking Basics this morning.  One of the attendees is someone who has just taken a job in northern Kentucky (greater Cincinnati), doing what I do here in Dayton and what my business specialist co-worker does.  Fortunately, that's a much smaller library and community.  She and I went to Panera for lunch and had a short "consult" afterward.

This afternoon my tree guy is coming to give an estimate on removing some dead/rotting trees.  I'm a little concerned about how much it's going to cost, but it has to be done. The tree guy is a looker.  Paul said he used to have the nicest ass in town....my reaction was "used to?"

Two words: Digital Camera.

;)

Then 'we' can pass judgment on, if indeed, he "used to".

I hope so too.  And he is very nice.  -And I guess I should e-mail him a "Closing Night" greeting.

OK... I should get ready for the 4:00 matinee...  OH!  And they're serving Eggplant Parmigiana as part of the between-show meal.  YUM!

Probably not when he's giving the estimate, but if he's here when they take down the trees I'll see what I can do - have to take photos of the trees you know  ;)

Eggplant...hmmm. That sounds good. I planted some today, but that won't be ready for dinner so think I'll run to the store.  That will surely get the tree man here, lol
