OH! I am glad you mentiond that, we were thinking of planting some trees in the back I was thinking an apple and peach would be nice, but I would need to have two of each to get fruit?

Maybe two apple then....

I didn't think you had to with apples, but my mother said you did and then she checked with a nursery and they agreed.  I know cherry will give fruit with just one tree.  I'm going to ask about it to be sure. There are some apple trees out there that grow fast and produce fruit within the first year or two. I'm thinking about planting whatever kind they are.  Just decided this today so I haven't done my research yet.

Lorraine
And poor Eileen

Sherry
Green?

Lorraine
I'll say
Found her husband acting shameless
With a gal who shall be nameless

Sherry
Now blossom!

Lorraine
All right
With me!

or

Lorraine
Who created mass disaster
Kicking Elsa in the Astor

Sherry
Blossom

Lorraine
What?

Sherry
That was me!

Ginny-How fun to remember the first day you wore nylons.  Was that also the first day you wore heels?  I remember the experience, just not the date-or even how old I was.

I remember being all dressed up with my parents & wearing my little french heels.  For some reason we decided to go to the movies.  I thought I was sooooo mature looking they wouldn't let me in as a child.  My parent’s response was to laugh at me, and darn, sure enough I still got in at the child's rate.  I was 17 before I couldn't do that anymore, and then only because Keith found it too embarrassing ;D

Does anyone care to know that 45 years ago today, I wore nylons for the first time?  It was my sister's wedding and I was a junior bridesmaid.  45 years - wow!

  ;D

Some years ago I was at an "Lingerie Party" (lieka tupperware party only more fun) and the sales lady brought out some garter belts...

"What the heck are those?" asked some 20 somethings

"Garter belts" I replied, "we used them before they invented panty hose.:

"You were a live before they invented panty hose?"

 ::) :P

Happy Anniversary to your Sister!

LOL Jane, I remember when we used to be quiet and just put the money on the counter hoping that the ticket seller didn't know we were over the "child" age. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't.

Oh, sorry, I lost count!  At least I got us to page 10.

Oh it's ok, it just cracked me up. I had the image of us sitting around a table when you said you were worried and Jane said "me too" and I said "me three" and Vixmom said "me four" and you said "me five".   I'm still laughing about it...sorry, that probably isn't very nice

No, I wore flats, but they were dyed to match the color of my dress, just like the grown-up girls'.  My first heels were a couple of years later.  Now, the older I get the flatter my shoes are again  ::)
