I'm with you on this one. I love Paris Street, Rainy Day...I couldn't walk away from it when I saw it in Chicago.

Neither could I - I brought it home on a mug!
Also have a "Seurat - Sunday" mug - which I am using as I we "speak".

And my Hopper Mug

They are marvelous: 14 Oz heavy ceramic, ideal for Hot Chocolate.

They can be had at The Museum Shop

Cilla - Congrats!  Everything looks so promising, and we're thrilled for you.

Thanks!  My big issue at the moment is how I'm going to mix traditional and modern and whether to have an "office furniture" conference table or to get a real cool table somewhere like Pier 1 and turn it into a conference table.  I've got to drop off the loan app and papers tomorrow, but I'm not asking for that much in the grand scheme of things, so it shouldn't be a problem. This is starting to be a lot of fun!

Cillaliz, now I am envious not only of your house, but of your office as well! That wood is great!!! Is it the original wood that has always been in the office?

Not since 1917. I think it was remodeled at some point. You can tell from the outside that the window to the north is blocked off. Sort of  bummer, I could have 2 more windows, but if I have to give them up, I'll give them up for the wood.

I was really lucky to get this.  Office space is plentiful and cheap here, but to find something already laid out in exactly the floor plan I want and on the skywalk, like I wanted to be is just incredible to me

Congrats on your new office, DR Cillaliz. It is a lovely old building, and old buildings are so beautiful.

Well, my big day is done and it's late.  The highs are supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow. I'm sure it will still be hot at work (no air and no windows that open) but I have lots of work to do there tomorrow so if it's hot I shall still be there.

DR Jennifer....have to say I used to hate Myrna or is it Mirna, but I don't anymore.  I think it would be kind of cool if they won.

AMERICAN INVENTOR

Quote
A Security System More Lethal Than PMS: The Tampon Taser Gun

Ladies can replace that monthly period with an exclamation mark as feminine hygiene goes lethal with The Pink Stinger, a taser/stun gun creatively disguised as a tampon...except for the buttons, prods and high voltage. This weapon of mass absorption aims to target a niche market consumer, that being the tampon wielding women who desire private and discreet security in a friendly familiar package.

Vibes to DR DAKOTA CELT - May 7 & 8 should reduce some of the stress.

Congrats to DR JOSE on his milestone and thanks to him for the report on the concert (and concert goers) yesterday.

Belated birthday greetings to The Vixter!

I hope so!
