Well, you've read the notes, the notes had words, words, and more words, and now it is time for you to post until the blank white cows come home.

Something I enjoy doing when writing certain types of sentences for my various and sundried novels.  It's a little style thing I'm fond of.

The word of the day refers to the many re-writes of ALW musicals at his own little festival.

I just checked. My month and day are there. Must I supply the year for the month and day to show up?

If you do, you don't need to be accurate. ::)

I've been up monitoring the Election returns for a race in Long Beach in which I assisted.

The race was a special election to fill a vacated City Council Seat.

There are about 13,000 registered voters.
2050 voters cast ballots (16%).

There were 7 candidates and the race is winner-take-all.

My candidate won with 27% of the votes cast (by a 49 vote margin).

So, the guy whom 73% of the voters did not vote for will be the new City Councilman!

The gal who had the seat left to run to fill an open State Assembly seat. She is now filing to run for the just vacated (by death) Congressional Seat. Her main opponent is a State Senator - so, if either one of them wins, we will then need a special election to fill that vacated seat - then a City Council person will run to fill that seat, and then.....

BK - have you a favorite deli that can pack you a picnic basket?

You could take Cason and Squeeze to Griffith Park and dine near the Zoo.

And the word of the day is: POLYSYNDETON!
Polly Syndeton was pretty and athletic, and all the boys who met her fell in love with her immediately, but this didn't bother any of her girlfriends because Polly was either immediately apologetic for it or her engaging laugh told the other girls that it meant nothing to her, and besides Polly was always willing to help the other girls find the perfect accessories for their wardrobes.

If only she hadn't been such a non-stop chatterbox.

Ah, yes, a production still from that well-loved Disney movie, Derby O'Gill and the Little Milliners.

I should get ready for work.  More cart wrangling today.  And I promised Gina, who heads the Flower Shoppe, that I'd help her move some stuff when I get the time.

And the latter half of my day will be spent getting the first three registers ready for conversion to self-checkout.  Such a joy.   :P
