That clock states I have until Saturday, July 19, 2036.

Mom seems to be doing ok.  In fact, I have to meet with the social worker to find out what we are going to do.  She needs 24 hour care so I don't think she will be coming home but she can't stay at the Hospice house for very much longer.

Now I'm scared and worried about how much this is all going to cost.

DR Elmore, I'm sorry to hear your not feeling well.

Get well vibes to you!

Well, I must say...

It's a lot easier to keep up with the posts when HHW is moving this slowly!

Hi DR OZ/Tom -- Did you hear that my old friend Tedd D. had a hip replacement a couple of weeks ago?  Thankfully, everything went smoothly and he was back at home re-couping.  About 3 or 4 of my old friends from the channel O-10 network days, now have homes on various sized acreage lots in the Yarra Valley.  Is that anywhere near your part of the hills?

There is a certain chinchy bassa I would pie. But then I would probably go to jail for assault with a cream pie.

Oh... my answer to the "pie-in-the-face-question" --

The reigning devious, two-faced, evil, and dangerous elected official.....Dick Cheney !  I think the combination of Cheney and Karl Rove have done more harm to this country than anyone else in a long time.

Yea, yea,...... I know that the Log Cabin boosters think people like me are crazy.... and can't possibly love the United States.  Well, I do love it, and that's why the present state of this nation saddens me so.

Oh, my, on my way to verifying some info for my post about librarian sleuths, I stumbled across:

Alina Adams' Figure Skating Mysteries

Another series to add to my wanna-read list.

But you already knew that!

I have to consider getting something to eat for dinner.

And........ I am seriously thinking of giving in, and going to Marie Callendar to bring home a piece of pie.  I have been good and resisted for many weeks, but all of the strolls and promenades by dear DR Jose to all of the yummy bakery places in Manhattan have chipped away at my resolve.

I WANT PIE !!!

And yes, this time, I blame Jose !!

Why didn't you go along?  You could have met BK, Adrianna, and even Cason, if he ever gets out of bed!

Why didn't you go along?

Alas, I used up vacation time earlier this year, when we were in Palm Springs.  And must save my precious few remaining days for events later in the year...    :(

My niece lives on the Melba estate.  (Her partner looks after the Grape Vines for the Dame Nellie Estate) .We live on the other side of the Dandenongs.  A bear with a hip  replacement. Now that should be news here.

Tedd used to live in Wonga Park. I guess that's near enough to being in the Valley.

A. I'd think you were crazy if you loved Cheney/Rove
B. Part of loving the US is caring passionately about it (as you do)
C. Nonetheless, I think you're crazy anyhow ;D

Nicky has never seen a mouse, except for the one on my computer.  I don't know what he would do.

Well.... taking "A" and "B" above into consideration...... then I will admit you are probably right about "C" .   And I'm sure there are legions that would agree with you.
