I'm up, I'm up - trying to de-groggify so I can joggify before it gets too hot.

I have a board meeting today, and I just received an email from someone criticizing a document that several of us worked on for months. Said person had many opportunities to do so earlier and waited until the last minute.

I have a headache.

(I am hoping I modified my post before someone points out my typo.)

You could invite her to join your neighbor, Dead Jean.

The Goldstein family lives in the house that was formerly owned by Bourbon Dick.

(The house was owned by Berb (Bernice) and Dick. But when I heard a neighbor refer to them for the first time, I heard Bourbon Dick.)

I went for my walk this morning to get coffee. Starbucks is a three-mile round trip. But I am going to have to start out earlier. It was hot in the sun.

I had to read Inherit the Wind and To Kill a Mockingbird for class also. Excellent plays.

Of course, nothing can beat the OJ spectacle for courtroom drama. Except maybe the Evelyn Nesbit spectacle.

did the glue dry during the drama?

DR JRand56, did you watch THE INTERNS or THE NEW INTERNS when they showed on TCM a few weeks back? Some good soapiness as I recall (I hadn't seen them in years, but hope to watch them this weekend).

I try to forget that three-ring circus. I nearly quit watching the telly during the whole trail.

Watched a little bit of both of them....worth some time for the casts, but I doubt that I want to see them again.

I did watch THE LAST SUNSET to see Mr Rad Fulton....who finally showed up one hour into the movie looking very nice.  Although he had a tendency to look a bit cross-eyed in some of his closeups.  I guess he was trying to look like he was thinking!  :P

I'm not at all sure what you mean, Dan, about mindbending powers of the woman who can shape-shift.  Can you elaborate?  If you are referring to Micah's attempt to escape, only to find himself back in the same room, I'm not certain "she" did that.  I was thinking more along the lines of its being a Linderman arrangement.

But I could be wrong...

When Mica came into the room and she appeared to him, he asked her how did she do that.  She said that she can go into people's minds and make them see whatever she wanted them to see and that if he didn't behave, she would make him see things that would mess him up for life.

Unless she wasn't responsible for the room changes and she was just messing with the kid.  She strikes me as the type who would do that.

The small pooch is Mikey, an eight year old pug-terrier mix (we think) recused from the pound when he was about 7 weeks old.

The blonde next to him is Bonnie, a Basenji-Terrier mix (we think) stray that joined us with Buster two weeks before we left Long Beach.

I've seen this movie referred to as "Strange on the Range."

BUT, it has an excellent music score!

Okay....hmmmm....so what she is doing is making people "see" her as she wishes to be seen.  I think I've assumed she was "shape-shifting" or "morphing"....but apparently she makes folks see what she wants them to see.

I guess it's possible she could do that to Micah's mind re: always entering the same room no matter where he runs to.

Food for thought...THAT's what I get here!

We didn't have a tv during that whole thing. It broke, somehow, the day of the slow speed chase.  ;)

Did he recuse himself?  Or was it a court order?

I once bought a pizza and left half of it on the table in the box for my DS for when he came home later. He asked how come we didn't save any pizza for him. Our lab mix, Misty, was lying  nearby looking innocent.
