My mother in one of those places?  But... she's harmless.  She's as harmless as one of these stuffed birds.

Good Afternoon!

What to do... What to do...

Put on your Sunday clothes
and stroll to Central Park,
Put on a smile and
have your picture took.....

Dear DR Jose...... You have moved higher into the pantheon of rarified air.  And you obviously have had an increased leap in taste and cute-i-tude!  Pink should look great on you.......

.........or draped over a chair.........

....................or tossed on a park bench.......... :D ;)

Well...  I like uniforms, but only fake ones.

::)

 :o

Or something like that.  ???

DR George - As for the vocal selections to Avenue Q...  Maybe you got lucky and ended up buying the new songbook.  There are two versions out there.  The original, plus one that has fewer songs, but has the actual piano rehearsal score arrangements of the songs.  Aida and Wicked also have this option.  In any case, I hope you purchased a supplement rather than a duplicate.

Thanks for the info.  I didn't realize that there were two different versions.  It turns out that I got the 196 page "piano/vocal selections" that puts the melody in the piano part.  I glanced through the songbooks that I own and have access to and didn't see any other version, so maybe I didn't actually get it before.  Now that I know that there are two versions, I just might get the other one, anyway. :)

And for his next selection, DR TCB will recite from... ;)

Enjoy The Full Monty!  With or without the binoculars.

It is supposed to be a very good production (eat your heart out, George).

Thank you for the e-mail, Jose.  That would be a terrific idea, or actually ideas.  If you could check that out for me, I would appreiate it.

I never  knew you could do that with a guy!

And a very Happy Mother's Day to the GRANDE MENSCH hisself !!  You keep a good eye on all of your hainsies and kimlets, you let us play here in Living Room, you hand out a bitch-slap when a H/K acts up, and you provide a fertile ground for friendships and trysts and assignations.

Maybe it would be more appropriate to wish you a HAPPY YENTA's DAY ! ;)

And speaking of pink shirts...  Sort of...

Is purple totally out this year?  I look good in purple, a good deep, almost looks like it's royal blue purple, but I can't seem to track down a purple shirt other than a t-shirt.  *And the Ralph Lauren line this season has a yellow undertone to it, which makes me look sallow.

-And most of the reds I tried on yesterday, were more like brick red rather a more jewel-like tone.  What gives?

*Can you tell I had my colors done a few years ago. ;)

My, my, George; you are up rather early.

Actually, I should be in the shower now.  I have to work concessions for a local ballet performance.  I have to be there at noon but I also need to get gas before I get down there or I won't make it! :o

But first I must ketchup on my HHW!! ;)

BK, I faxed the music twice! I wasn't sure it went through the first time because I didn't hear our fax chirping at the other one.

OK...

Well, I think I'm just gonna head out of the apartment and see where my feet take me.  I do have some shopping I should do for my nieces and nephews - my goddaughter's first birthday was two weeks ago, and my nephew, John Michael, had his First Communion yesterday.

So, DR elmore, I may end up in your 'hood by default.  Call me on my cell if you'd like a rice pudding delivery from Artie's later on.

So, do you think they'll have to turn off the A/C in the theatre for the last half of the show so that it's not too cold on stage?

elmore did a beautiful thing - a high school teacher had e-mailed me asking if his graduating class could sing Time To Go from Stages - apparently they love the song.  I went into storage and went through every single box and couldn't find any of the Stages music, so I asked elmore if he'd do up a lead sheet for them and he did and Jose was kind enough to go over it.  And they are so THRILLED - I'm going to ask him to record it and send it to me.
