Chicken spaghetti????

Spaghetti with meat sauce, substituting chicken for ground beef.  It's something I invented years ago to use up some leftover roasted chicken and has become a favorite of DS Rob's.  Unfortunately, he's still pretty sick with mono, so didn't eat very much.

If they have any photos of the Aggies on the wall, you might want to steal them for DR Michael Barnum to plan his dance card for 2047!  They should be in his date range by then.

To Hell with that.  I think DR Jane should start preparing DS Craig for who he can expect at his door on his 65th birthday.

I have just returned from laughing myself silly at HOT FUZZ, which does to the Cop Buddy Film, THE WICKER MAN, and the Quaint English Village Murder Mystery what SHAUN OF THE DEAD did to George Romero.  Is it a hoot? An enormous one.  I love Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and the rest of the cast is quite wonderful: Jim Broadbent, Timothy Dalton, Bill Nighy, Kenneth Cranham, Billie Whitelaw whom I last saw playing the mother in the wonderful gangster film THE KRAYS, and Edward Woodward of THE WICKER MAN.

I think I'll see it again tomorrow at 4:00!

I knew you would have a fun time  :D

Oh...

For anyone who will be in or near New York City area before June 10, and would still like to see Journey's End, they are offering $35 tickets through Playbill.com.   And I'd have to say that would be $35 well spent.

Doll's Life and Celebration are now gone.  And the Ogermans are going, too, so if you want one (and it's really worth it), act quickly.

The Ogermans????

Is it just me, or do the previews of The CW's new series HIDDEN PALMS make it look like a rehash of THE OC?

DVR ALERT!!!!

For anyone recording "Idol"....

It looks like they're going to 10:05 rather than 10:01.  Possibly even 10:06 at this point.

OH! (#2)

I had one of the best subway rides today...

When I boarded the train, I heard some guy complaining... Complaining in a very loud, resonant voice.  Well, it turned out to be a homeless man.  But he wasn't complaining.  Instead he was starting his stand-up routine.  :)

I have to tell you, I live in the best place in NYC.  I know a lot of you pay anywhere from $1100 to $3000 for your places, and you live in the best places in Manhattan.  I pay $2.00 rent, and I get to live all over the island.

...And just wait until you meet my wife.  My wife is so fat.  She weighs 384 pounds.  And that's just on the weekends.

Please remember to take your newspapers with you when you leave the train.  I have company coming later.

I've encountered this man once before, and I have to say he truly has a wonderful outlook on his situation.  And he certainly makes the subway go by a lot faster.

:)

I'd say it's worth a Google search.  I've literally laughed out loud each time I've seen it.

You know, I can't  figure out how I have gotten this reputation...I have never dated anyone older the 48 years of age. Not that I haven't met guys older then that wouldn't mind dating.
