How do we know it wasn't the living room?

Oh no, dear TCB... when referring to the entertainment room of our beloved Grande Mensch here, where we all gather, it was established years ago that the only respectful appellation was to include capital letters.

So again, shame on me.... (and the day of atonement is so damned far off!!)

Eating some food and getting ready to go see A Chorus Line at my school. I have not yet heard back from the ticket people about upgrading our tickets to VIP.
Why may I ask does a high school with a 1200 seat auditorium need "VIP" seating. Every seat in the house is wonderful. I really wish they would be able to get a new sound system though.

Today we saw  All Shook Up, the Elvis musical. The plot seemed quite familiar to me, somehow.

But TNT surprised us with a two part CHristmas special that REALLY wrapped up season 2, and that's what I was watching when I shut the system down to get on-line.

It sure did.  Thank goodness I had TIVO to record it for me, and someone here to mention it had recorded, or we would have missed it.

I just finished Season Two of THE CLOSER, and what a great series!

For anyone that doesn't have it on DVD, TNT will be running a Closer marathon leading up to the series premiere on Monday night.

I found over 100 cassettes and DATS to transfer - including all the instrumental mixes from every solo album I've produced.

Does that mean that the next release will be Kritzer Karaoke?

Keith received a very nice package from Bryan today.  A bottle of homemade Pad See eu sauce (not spicy the way Keith likes it) & a package of noodles.  Directions for making Pad See eu were also included.

OK...I'm probably not supposed to be talking about this, but TNT asked me to do a "viral video" that was supposed to look like it was made by a Closer fan. (If you go to YouTube you can see several of these...some are pretty good!) Since I had all the videos in my system, I did a montage about her sweet fixation. They didn't make any changes apart from asking if I could make it a little shorter.

So I've been checking on YouTube and it never showed up. Just now I went to www.tnt.tv to check on the schedule for the marathon and saw a video called "Sweet On Brenda", which is obviously mine. But I made crappy titles to make it look amateur---really cheesy and ugly, and here it is on their network site?? But I can't view it. It is in MIME format and doesn't even give me the option to download a player. So here's the link:
http://www.tnt.tv/dramavision/index.jsp?oid=30052
If anyone can play this, could you tell me if it has cheesy-looking and sounding titles? I can't believe they would put it out there looking like that--doesn't make sense if it's supposed to represent the network.

Greetings...

Just discovered something interesting about DBF... He is a big fan of First Nudie Musical.

He saw the movie when it played at UWSP when he was in college.

I really loved that YouTube link of the opera singer that DR SwishySara told us about. I sent it to quite a few friends who loved it!

I loved it, too.  I have sent it to everyone I could think of that might be moved by it.  And, I forced my sister (with a threat of death) to watch the video.  Everyone has loved it.

I just watched the final disc of POPULAR Season 1, and the series went in one episode from bizarre to completely out in left field with a parody of every series season ender: natural disaster, cliffhanger, pets gone wild, a wedding, a cheesy boy group, and an musical episode.  what drugs are these insane writers on? I'm still laughing that a series with this much cheek ever lasted more than two or three weeks before the dumbass studio heads pulled it.

Tomorrow, THE CLOSER Season 1.

Edi, so far I have watched two of the video's.  The picture isn't sharp on either.  Brenda on Sweets is fun and I can see why they included it. :)

I'm going to watch a few more.

Thanks, Jane, for the directions. What kind of browser are you using to view it?

A friend of the client I did this for downloaded some potential songs and was very excited that this was the one I chose, because she really liked it.

But the video is fuzzy, huh? I didn't do it at full res because I thought it would look more viral and match the other stuff on YouTube. I would have uprezed it had I known they were going to use it on their own site. Argh. Thanks!
