George-Thanks for the link.  It was very interesting.

Keith said the little bitty baby jackrabbit was only 6 inches long with BIG ears.

Rabbits are not welcome here but Fosca and Magnus have yet to get that message. It's unsual to walk in the garden without seeing a rabbit (ignored by Fosca and Magnus).

Of course we welcome the rare visits by 'roos to the garden.

I am shocked to say that I was under the impression that Lady Bird Johnson had already joined the choir invisible.

We now have air conditioning again!!

It seems that Miss Blue Moon has spend so much time sleeping up against the air conditioning unit in the back yard.....her lovely hair had clogged the works.  Time for a fence around the AC.

Thanks to DR GINNY for the lovely Playbill from THE FANTASTICKS.

The one I have already is listed as The Snapple Theater and this one proudly proclaims The Jerry Orbach Theater.

Der Brucer and I have returned, having viewed a moom pikachur called Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

It's dark.

That's all I can say without posting spoilers.

Hares and jackrabbits are leporids belonging to the genus Lepus. (Four other species of leporid in the genera Caprolagus and Pronolagus are also called "hares".) Very young hares are called leverets.

Members of all genera except Lepus are usually referred to as rabbits, while members of Lepus (which accounts for almost half the species) are usually called hares. However the distinction between these two common names does not map completely into current taxonomy, since jackrabbits are members of Lepus, and members of the genera Pronolagus and Caprolagus are sometimes called hares.

So, what I’m saying is a jackrabbit is not a rabbit, it’s a hare. ;D

Nope, he just puts a little more effort into lifting that seat.

JRand do you have air conditioning inside for Miss Blue Moon to enjoy?

Keith was also surprised about Lady Bird.

"Many dogs and cats love to drink from the toilet. Thirsty dogs and cats lap up the water with vigor simply because it is cool and accessible. It's much easier for the pet owner who just has to leave the lid open and avoids having to fill up an additional dish with water.

The problem is, toilets are full of bacteria and that bacteria can potentially cause your dog or cat to get sick. In addition, toilet cleaner is extremely toxic to both cats and dogs and there is often cleaning residue in the toilet. Finally, depending on the traces of what was in the toilet, drinking from it can give your pet horrible breath.

Don't let your pets drink from the toilet. Always keep the toilet lid down, and provide cats and dogs with fresh drinkable water each day."

You're welcome, DR JRand!  That got there fast - I just mailed it on Monday from the PO at my mother's retirement community.  Didn't have any idea how quickly something would be dispatched from there.

Sort of gives new meaning to the expression that someone is "all ears," doesn't it?

Yes.  I liked it.

But it's shorter than the book.

I found out a couple of days ago that a cousin to my sister and I (he's the son of my dad's estranged brother) recently moved to Salem (I think), Oregon.  (MBarnum, do you know a guy with the last name of Dougherty?  I forget his first name, but his wife's name is Angel. ;))  Anyway, he wants to get and stay in contact with us here in Washington and he's up here now visiting at my parents' house!  So, I'm off to meet a cousin! :D Have a good evening all!

Bk - Milla is performing in the Town hall concert on Monday night, but arranging to get the CD's on sale there on Monday wouldn't be realistic unless she has the CD's in hand when we discussed.  It's just not something she can deal with on the performance day.

FJL, Please tell Milla I wish her the best and wish I could be there to see  and hear her
