Well, you've read the notes, the notes were humid, so now it's time for you to post until the humid cows come home.

What happened to page 18?

When I came out of the NEW REHEARSAL CENTER tonight, it was so hot and humid that my eyeglasses steamed up.

Adam asked me tonight if I would like drums to play when I exit the first time.....

I told him that I would adore to have percussion on my egress.....which he said would be fine, but would I like drums when I exit.....

Yes, Larry did call and then I spoke to him once he got home.  He said he wasn't feeling well enough, that he hadn't really been feeling all that great since the morning.  Of course, he was greatly missed - BK of course had just seen him during the auditions, still DR Julie and (Kritzerland recording artist) Milla just adore Larry (as of course do Skip and I).

ASSOCIATED PRESS

Quote

Six Trapped in Collapsed Utah Coal Mine
...
In 2007, inspectors have issued 32 citations against the mine, 14 of them considered significant.

Last month, inspectors cited the mine for violating a rule requiring that at least two separate passageways be designated for escape in an emergency.

It was the third time in less than two years that the mine had been cited for the same problem, according to MSHA records. In 2005, MSHA ordered the mine owners to pay $963 for not having escapeways and the 2006 fine for the same problem was just $60.

Overall, the federal government has ordered the mine owner to pay nearly $152,000 in penalties for its 325 violations with many citations having no fines calculated yet. Since January, the mine owner has paid $130,678 in fines, according to MSHA records.

Asked about safety, Murray told reporters: "I believe we run a very safe coal mine. We've had an excellent record."

Hmmm...seems "very safe" is in the eye of the beholder!

If the trapped miners are un-doumented immigrants, should tax-payer dollars be used to rescue them?

I'd hate to see a FOX news poll on that one!

Alright, MS TNT:

On last night's CLOSER, Brenda entered the boat wearing that wonderfully rediculous floppy white brim hat; we get a great shot of her peeling it off; however, she leaves the boat without it!

Where's the damn hat!!!!

More on THE CLOSER:

In the boat scene (below decks), the director does a wonderful job of showing us the details of the scene, not just as evidence, but through Brenda's eyes as she hardens her resolve to find the culprit.

Will we see the "Can I keep my own name" line in future promos?

Rebelling against the ex-gay movement, Adam and Steve declared to one and all that they were gay and therefor EXIMIOUS.

TOD

Over at Partners, a fave hangout of der B's and myself, they serve fantastic fried chicken as a special on Tuesday nights.  Just $12.95.  But since der B and I had chicken last night, I think that's not what we'll be having tonight.

Another hot and muggy day for New York (tomorrow as well according to the weather reports).

Oh, well, in spite of the unpleasant weather, Anthony and I will still celebrate our 12th Anniversary! Wow, time flies.

So, which of you has the Nelson Eddy part, the bowl or you?

Either way, Jeanette McDonald would be so jealous!

She had already made her fashion statement, so she didn't need it anymore?

I think after seeing that crime scene I would have forgotten it, too!

Skip's fried chicken is the only fried chicken I like.

I loved fried pufferfish in the Hamptons and fried clams (with bellies) in at Woodman's in Mass. And in mass (quantities).

But not IN mass. (I'm not Catholic...)

I have a friend in a Fringe play (different from NYMF) and I will be seeing it next Wednesday. It's called

PB&J

According to the Web site (and my friend), it's a dark comedy about elderly women whose peanut-butter recipes are more Lorena Bobbitt than Betty Crocker.
