I actually really love those cheap little boxes of mac and cheese...but the best mac and cheese I have ever experienced was at a potluck at work a couple of years ago...my co-worker, and BK fan, Amy made some mac and cheese that was absolutely wonderful!!!

A side, never an entree. My dad was a meat eater, absolutely essential that we have it at every meal.

Sounds like my household - Mom had trouble getting Pop to accept any pasta as a potato substitute and rice was unknown (except in soups). Mac-and-cheese was fine as a side, as long as there were also potatoes on the plate.

Breakfast meats were always bacon or sausage (we hadn't discovered the Southern tradition that has no problem with fried chicken or pork chops for the morning meal  :))

DR Miss Karen - those are the same visions I'm having about the apartment I've rented for DH Richard and myself.  What a relief that DR Cason's lodgings are satisfactory (and then some) - gives me hope for the leap of faith we're taking at the end of next month!

DR Ginny ~ Leap of faith is the exact term I used when telling a friend about the Sublet Saga ... I'm sure you've posted this info (I'm afflicted with EandT Syndrome so forgive me), but where's your location?  Our sublet is on W. 44th  -- literally, and I mean literally, around the corner from The Acorn.
I can't wait for the festival and the HHW NYC Reunion!!

I would like to see some gold lame panites!!!!   :o

Panites are a lacy (and racy) French version of panties .... gold lame lace is something to behold -- especially on DRs MusicGuy and Jose (of course, I only can imagine since I've yet to see them in an actual pair of gold lame panites...)...

Bukowsical runs Aug. 11, 12, 14, 17 and 18 at The Theatres at Bleecker St. For more info go to bukowsical.com or The Fringe site for times and ticket info.

It's definitely on my list.  I wish I knew which performances he would be playing the lawyer.  I want to get my ticket. :)

A bit like fried food (a Mikey reference), I haven't met a mac and cheese I didn't love (I mean, how can you go wrong with cheese?! Cheese anything is heavenly!)

Hey, I'm getting close to a millstone -- 2,500 or does it have to be 5,000 for the confetti and the dancing DRs MusicGuy and Jose in gold lame panties, I mean, undies?

Definitely 2500.  Why unnecessarily double the amount of time inbetween when DRs MusicGuy and Jose get to wear the gold lame panties undies?

Good morning!

It got up to 102 here yesterday, an all-time record for that date. The highest ever recorded temperature for Charlotte is 104, so yesterday was something else. It's going to be near-100 today as well.

I hate summer.

It was F 59 when I woke up.  Weatherman says it should warm up to F 67 today!

They have a tech rehearsal this afternoon, so maybe ... They'll probably wait until the last minute (I'm such a cynic, sorry) to tell them.  But, I'll tell Case to tell them that some of his friends want to buy tickets (money is always a good incentive) to see the show when he's the lawyer -- maybe that'll work....

Well, I've done the emails and logo designs.  I will now get ready for the auditions.  The EPAs are today.  I'm hoping we'll see some exciting young people for the teenager roles.

You can always watch "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".

How would you feel about owning/wearing some gold lame panites?

DR Miss Karen - we'll be on 54th, just west of Ninth Ave., very close to the Julia Miles Theater, venue for DR Noel's Such Good Friends.

It's not a cedilla, it's an acute (é), not be confused with a grave (è).
