DR Cason - Would you be interested in sitting in the pit tomorrow night at ACL?  You be sitting right next to me, and you can still watch the show on the big flat screen monitor we have down there.  -Although, lately, the "show" in the pit has been quite entertaining too.  ;)

Who was talking about piles yesterday?

I'm actually interested in seeing that show.  I've read Will Durst's column a couple of times, and it would be neat to see and hear it performed live... By Will Durst.

You think our fair city lacks ambience?!! Pshaw! I say to you sir, those are fighting words!!!

No, no, it isn't the city!  It was a certain guy in Amy's Breads that detracted from the experience.

Joy, the CD has told me that he has indeed played the ME card, but it's just been a lot of odd circumstances, and everyone we've gone to has really liked the show itself and ninety percent of our offer people have really tried to make their schedules work, but it just hasn't worked out.

Yeah -- we'll be done around 5:30ish tomorrow, if you're looking for a reason to visit Magnolia...

AH!  The Enabler has passed his gift to me.

Oh, TOD... well, the CD/DVD are collecting dust... but we watched a DVR'd TOP CHEF and MAD MEN (which is just becoming tedious), and I am currently listening to my iTunes on Shuffle, which is a fascinating experience.

Has anyone ever done the iTunes Shuffle Interview game?  It's delightful.

Did anyone hear this recipe for Wacky Cake on NPR's All Things Considered the other day?   "Wacky" because one of the ingredients is white vinegar...

Mary Carole Battle's Mother's Wacky Cake

....

Well... There are a couple of cake recipes that count vinegar among their ingredients.  Since it's an acid, it aids in the leavening of the cake.  My favorite, easy and quite delicious Chocolate Cake recipe uses cider vinegar.

Well, DR Jason does have a matinee, but I could always meet you down there - and, actually, I was thinking of seeing your show tomorrow afternoon anyway (before DR elmore's ticket), so...

Regardless of which show I see tomorrow - if any - we could always bring back some banana pudding for DR Jason.  *And, remember, if you are not getting cupcakes at Magnolia, you do not have to wait in line, you can go right in.

I can't do tomorrow - I don't think I could get down there and back in time between shows. But I guess DR Jose might be able to make it...

But there's always Monday...
