Would that be found in the Whole Foods organic, free-range, haute couture section?  Haute chicken?

Or it must come from Terre Haught, IN.

Thanks for the link, DR SINGDAW, and thanks to those DRs whose votes COUNT for Flyer Idol.

Miss Amanda appreciates your support.

I suppose I never thought of Leona as a combination of Allison and Carroll, but there are certainly elements that each of them could bring to the role....except of course Allison is busy being dead and Carroll isn't on many casting lists these days.

Afternoon, all... taking a short break to eat my lunch of mixed field greens with sliced fresh turkey and fresh veggies, with a dash of homemade balsamic vinaigrette.  Which leads me to the TOD:

In my adult life, the lightest was 160 at age 23 (after losing 30 lbs).  Heaviest was 211.  Currently at 206 and just re-joined the Dubs (WW), so hopefully it'll keep going down.  Happiest weight was when I was a lithe, muscular kid chasing horses around, unaware that weight was ever an issue for anyone.

Perhaps we should all go on a weight-loss diet together and report in to each other.

I am looking forward to cooler weather when I can get outside for walks. It's too darn hot (a Cole Porter reference) to do that now.

Haute chicken?

I suspect "someone" will tell us that in Atlanta, Haute Chicken is the opposite of cold chicken.

OH!

And I have mentioned this before, but...

There is this choreographer I work with from time to time who swears there's no way I weigh over 200.  And he really means it.  And this from someone who makes a living looking a people's bodies and checks to see if what is listed on their resume matches what he see in person.  -And has no problem telling someone that need to lose five pounds.  He tells me I can't be more than 180, 185.  So, that assessment always keeps me happy.  ;)

Jose, I always get that too.  "You do NOT weigh 200 lbs."  Um... actually, I weigh a bit more than that... Flattering, but dangerous.   :)

Forgot this bit:  I would be happy to hover around 150-160, I think.  But I don't remember what that was like.  I guess just watching the numbers and the belt holes going down makes me happy.

DR JEANNE - breakdowns and repairs are common when Neptune is in Leo....but with it moving into Virgo this week, things should lighten up...repair wise anyway.
Perhaps that explains why THREE of my closest couple friend pairs have been having issues -- one broke their engagement, one had a very shocking infidelity, and one is having communication issues.  And my *&#^$*^# multifunction printer is being a b****.

TOD:
Well, yes, this is a personal topic, isn't it?
Obviously, at birth we all weighed the least (barring any infancy infections which caused us to lose weight).
As for myself, I remained thin and angular until the third grade.  It was at that point in time that I was put on prescription prednisone, which puffed my cheeks (butt and facial) and began a weight gain which continued for quite a while.
When I graduated high school, I weighed in at 326 pounds.
When I started college the following fall, I weighed 170 pounds.
I went from a 46 inch waist to a 32 inch waist in the space of a summer, thanks to proper diet and exercise.  No drugs were involved.
There was a point, when I began working a Carnegie Mellon in the early 80s, that I was down to a 28 inch waist and carried 130 pounds on a six-foot-two frame.
These days, my weight goes between 180 and 220 depending on the season, and my waist fluctuates between 40 and 38 inches.
Right now, I'm wearing size 38 inch shorts, though last summer at this same time, I was down to 36 - accounted for by the constant lifting, non-sleeping, non-eating, non-everything of working the graveyard shift (10pm - 6:30am).
Now I'm not lifting merchandise except to put in my shopping cart, but am still walking miles a day.
There's not much extra on the old bones, but enough to drop it as the year progresses.

ps - I'm almost certain that there are photos of nearly every stage of these weighty issues.

Had a nice meeting, which was interrupted by the kind of phone call I just didn't need or want - our two current offers can't do it, and, as if that weren't bad enough, our General Mills got a big-paying job that he can't turn down and so had to bow out (that's the Equity rule for NYMF - the actors can bow out at any time if they receive a paying or even non-paying job).  So, we're now without four cast members and I'm going insane.  I've just put in a call to Gerritt Graham again, to see if there's any way to work him out - if not, my casting guy is bringing in a few people and we'll have a casting session Wednesday evening.  I cannot believe we are going to go into rehearsals on Wednesday without a fully cast show.  Frankly, I'm ready to chuck the whole damn thing.  In thirty-eight years of being in this business, I have NEVER been through anything like this.

I caught High School Musical 2 this past weekend.  It was a mess.  Really lacking the joy, humor, and self-discovery (other than a super-cheesy, even for Disney, 11 o'clock number "sung" by Zac Efron as Troy, which was engineered within an inch of its life) of the original.  None of the new songs were particularly catchy.  Really disappointing.
