I'm exhausted, physically (took a nice, long jog) and mentally.

We made our way up 8th Avenue and took a right at Greenwich Avenue.  Of course, I did make sure to point out HHW favorites Li-Lac Chocolates and Chocolate Bar.  *OH, and it appears Condomania has shuttered too. :(

Once on Greenwich, DR Jason dragged us into Carry On, Tea & Sympathy's retail store.  He then proceeded to buy Galaxy Ripple bars for all of us.  -Alas, they were out of the regular Galaxy Bars until Thursday.  DR Cason then proceeded to consume his as we continued our walk.  I believe DR Jason was saving his for his Ave Q shift tonight, and mine is still sitting in my backpack.

The exterminator showed up today and sealed a bunch of cracks where I think the bat came in to the house. It was free...since his work last year was guaranteed. He said if I have any more problems, they will be back again.  So Boo Boo the Bat Killer and her side kick Callie Sue are no longer my only defense against the bats that go swoop in the night

And then we went into an "adult toy store".  And I have to say, I was quite surprised at DR Cason's knowledge of some of "alternative adult entertainment" companies.  Quite surprised.

That's all I'm sayin'.

And then after cutting down Cornelia Street, we ended up back at Bleecker, and found ourselves heading into Amy's Bread.

As luck/fate/karma would have it, there was just one last slice left of....

I have decided that I must try Monkey Bread.  Thanks to DR Jose, I have been to Amy's Breads so I will find my way there in just a few short weeks.

And speaking of DR Cason...

...a somewhat brief shopping excursion at Uniqlo (I bought some jeans, and had them altered for free!),....  Whew!
With today's TOD, aren't you setting yourself up for some jokes?

Then after walking just a couple hundred feet over to Father Demo Square (which has just been recently refurbished) - and discovering that the Beard Papa Sweets Café had closed there, something happened.  Some would say, it was something bad.  Others would say, it was something good.  While still others would have to reserve judgement until they too had crossed paths with...

Alas, even though DR Jason had succumbed to the powers of The Enabler and Monkey Cake before, he did try to resist this time round...

Umm... Funny you should mention DR Cason's mom.  While walking through the West Village, we make a stop at a rather historic landmark.  It was there that the possible "re-education" of DR Cason started to take hold.  Or not.

You be the judge.

Monkey Bread is a whole different ball-game from Monkey Cake.  Still quite delicious, but decidedly different.

How close to the Bleeker St Theatre is the old Sullivan Theatre (and no, not the Ed Sullivan Theatre)?

OH!

We also made a stop at City Bakery's Birdbath location in the West Village where I picked up a cup of their Farmer's Lemonade.  Quite refreshing and tart(!).

Alas, the most interesting part of the stop into Birdbath was... well... Even I'm not sure how to describe it...  Oh, that's right...

I AM THE GAYEST!

The Bleecker Street Theatre is basically at Broadway and Bleecker.  It's about three blocks east of the Sullivan Street Theatre.

Is Cason done now and ready for The Brain - which may now begin rehearsals on Friday rather than Thursday, depending on what happens Wednesday evening.  Since three people would be missing on Thursday anyway, it's probably fine.

Needless to say, I had a most enjoyable afternoon with DRs Jason and Cason.  After leaving Cason at the theatre for his evening show, Jason and I headed back over to Uniqlo to pick up my jeans - size 36 waist! (they only carry 36's in a 34-inch length, which is why I had to get them altered (for free), and they were ready this time.

Then Jason and I hopped back on the train uptown, and I went ahead and detrained at 23rd Street to see if I could still get my hair cut at Chelsea Barber.  Well, they do stay open until 7:00, but by the time I got there a little after 6:30, all the "waiting chairs" were full, and there was even one guy sitting in the window - which would have meant that I probably would not have gotten into a chair until around 8:00.  So... I may try to head over there before my auditions tomorrow morning.  *Although, after looking at the pictures that were taken today, my hair doesn't look that long right now.

He should have been done about an hour ago.  And is probably helping with the strike right now.

bk - I'm sure you will get your show cast this week.  Trust me when I say that you could have worse problems right now with a NYMF show.  For instance, I had two more phone calls this morning from people looking for musical directors since they had just lost theirs.  And one of the producers was even inquiring if I had a lead on an certain type of actor and a director(!).
