I shall leave my post!
And I shall leave my post as it is nearly time for me to go to the post office.

I assume it was a cast member of "S & V" the musical.

Good Evening!

Ah!  What a nice day!  Since over the nine hours, I've played for 127 singers; I had lunch at Macy's with DRs Jason and Cason; I had some Garrett's "Chicago Mix"; I got my hair cut at Chelsea Barber; I dropped some mail off at the post office; and I made a run to the bank!  :)

*And it seemed that every time I stepped on the subway platform, a train would just happen to pull in.  And each time I had to cross a street, the "Walk" sign would come on.  OH! And there was NO line at the post office either.  -Dontcha just love it when that happens!  :)

Or "Skip," as it may be.

DR Jason - If I had seen your "picture" before I started playing auditions, I would have requested to have you barred from the room.  However, if you had come in dressed as your "picture", then I would have sent you down the hall to the Evita rehearsals.  -"Hi, I'm the new Mistress."  ;)

I believe Jason suggested "Prance".

Maybe you could get a pic with him...reenacting DR Cason's pose with the statue from yesterday.

So, as for amusement parks...

I'm really not sure which was the first one I went to.  However, my parents did take us on family trips to both Disney World and Disneyland when we were kids, as well as Busch Gardens Williamsburg.  When we lived in Seattle, we would ride the small rides in the park by the Space Needle.  -And the Space Needle was also a ride as far my brothers and I were concerned - it was always "fun" to stand on the "seam" where the restaurant rotated.

Once I was in high school, Kings Dominion - later Paramount's Kings Dominion - was that park of choice - mainly because it was just an hour and a half from home.  I had a habit of going a lot - seven to ten times in one summer (and not buying a season pass!), then not going for a few years, but then cramming a bunch of visits in again another summer.  The Volcano rocks!  And the HyperSonic was cool too.

And there was that one visit to Universal Studios Florida when I was doing some work for Universal Studios Japan.  We were given "fast passes" since we were staff, so... I managed to ride all of the roller-coasters in the park in just over a half-hour since I didn't have to wait in line.  Needless to say, just because I could didn't mean I should have.  I remember skipping dinner that night since I was still so dizzy from all the loops, free-falls and twists and turns.

And the auditions today went well.  Since the turnout was relatively small - 127 - the team just decided to work straight without taking a lunch break.  Even with some people being asked to read, we were still done by 2:30.  -And I was still on the clock until 6:00.  :)

Tomorrow is agent submissions, but it looks like it will be another sort of light day, and we'll most likely finish a bit early again.

DRs Jason and Cason did very well, and, apparently, they were more than fully able to keep themselves occupied during the hours before they were called into the room.  Oh...

DR Miss Karen - After a particular incident in the waiting area, DR Cason has some news for you... ;D

I prefer to think of "flounce" as a noun.

And "mince" is only something I do with a knife.

I currently live about 2 miles from Playland, I believe the only municipally-owned amusement park in the US.  Home of the famed Dragon Coaster.

Hmmm... I think DRs Cason, Jason and I went to a "Playland" yesterday in the West Village?
