Speaking of conductors, there are rumblings about the Internet that watching Kim Grigsby conduct a Broadway orchestra is almost a show just in itself!

AREA 51 PRESSder Brucer

Stay tuned for news from the Grassy Knoll

I did not even notice the earrings... Their ads are a bit amusing. Actually Alltell bought Cellular one and that is the only service that covers the rural areas up here. AT&T does not even serve ND. Sprint and Verizon are hit and miss. I am not sure if T Mobile is up here or not. WE also have Unicel.

OK, be honest, bk -

How many cherry ripes are stuffed into your suitcase?   ;)

I was wondering the same thing ;)

However mingdaw, with all the stress he has had with the brain and the fundraiser, he deserves to indulge a wee bit...

I haven't seen the whole thing...it's so heartbreaking I can't watch the whole thing at one time. A friend of mine edited it---I can't imagine how he felt while he was working on this.

I don't know if my old house survived, but my elementary school (2 blocks away) was under 8 ft of water and it was a bad neighborhood of old houses, so I'd be surprised if it was still there.

I'm not a big Spike Lee fan, but I liked what I saw of this. Just be prepared---it's so depressing and with some graphic images.

Edi, I have seen bits and pieces of it and it is depressing but actually well put together.

I can only imagine what your freind went through editing it. I could not have been easy.

Another episode of RESCUE ME on tonight which I'm looking forward to seeing.

Due to the US Open tennis matches being broadcast by USA next week, some of my favorite shows like PSYCH and BURN NOTICE will be preempted, and I also noticed that FX isn't showing new episodes of its series next week either.

DR Ron Pulliam - If DRs Jason and I were doing any drooling over the past couple of days, it was more over the Monkey Cake from Amy's Bread than anything or anyone else.  Now, as for DR Cason, well...  ???

;)

Actually, DR JoseSPiano, I never thought of you and Jason as "the boys", although you're far closer to boyhood than some others here at HHW.com.  I thought Cason was referring to his fan club on the forum.

All i can say is DR Cason is clearly selling fantasies up there on that stage.  That whole Brain from Planet X show is about selling sex, sex, sex, nothing else.

(There, that should sell some tickets for BK.)

(Just kididng., Ron P :) )

That's fine by me.

Apologies for my apologies to SWW for my anagramming--I think I meant DerBrucer.  Oy.

Thanks, Singdaw.  As I emailed Edi, after having to sit through another alleged "documentary" (The Beatles' Biggest Secrets--don't ask), it was gratifying to watch a film with a little coherence and brilliant editing.  :)

No, you are right---SWW does the anagrams. And of course, you're also right about the brilliant editing!  ;D

Seriously, it did take several years to wrestle that story to the ground!

Interesting random tidbit:

The American satirist and mathematician Tom Lehrer has been rumored to have been the first to invent the gelatin shot [jello shot] in the 1950s while working for the National Security Agency, where he developed vodka gelatin as a way to circumvent a restriction of alcoholic beverages on base, but this claim has not been substantiated.

I received a lovely early Birthday Box of Bollywood movies from DR MBARNUM today....including a Card and other surprises!!!

Let the celebration begin....

Oh...and DR JOSE was rude enough to be born on the same day....although a couple of decades later.....so I will have to share the felicitations with him....gladly, of course.
