I next watched last night's CSI: MIAMI. Little by little, they're working Ryan Wolf back into the show which is what I will require for me to continue watching. Nice case about internet celebrities.

Zubrick milked a comic laugh for ever, and ever, and, ever, and ever, and for so long -

YES!  That DR Cason has AMAZING breath control.  His diaphragm was working overtime on that one!  :)

Next up was last night's HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. Didn't think it was nearly funny enough. Once again, Marshall's participation was the most amusing thing to me about the episode.

I liked Neil Patrick Harris' cornpone accent when he first started playing a tourist, but then he dropped it. Were the girls realy THAT stupid not to notice the accent was gone? (He picked the accent back up right near the end, but that was even more confusing.)

Did we remember to text our votes for our favorite shows?

You can vote on your favorite NYMF show by texting the code of your favorite show to 64641.

For example:

FEST07 THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X
FEST16 THE LAST STARFIGHTER
FEST30 SUCH GOOD FRIENDS

I think you will be charged per message, and they send you a thank you followup, which maybe you have to pay for, too. Perhaps this is why it's sponsored by Verizon!

The Cason laugh - it came up in rehearsals in LA, but not nearly that long - I believe I encouraged him to go as far as he could - it was so long on some nights I simply didn't understand how he could do it.

So sweet!   :D

AND...they're still together, even AFTER DH Richard was selected as the Brain's victim!

Richard wasn't merely "selected" - he was set up - and by his own wife! Shocking!

As much fun as getting good tech support from NYMF?

I'm already sufferning withdrawal pangs - not from missing NY, but from seeing our wonderful NY hainsies/kimlets on a regular basis, and all our visiting hainsies/kimlets.  That made the whole NYMF experience worthwhile.

Well get your ass in gear, write another show, and we'll do it again next year!

I mean, how hard it it be?

An eerie show about invasions from out space opens with a darken stage; a disembodied voice begins the narration and soon the narrator is reveled in fill light and the action begins. Look perfectly natural to me!

As a victim of your criticism for no apostrophe on fuckin several posts ago, I hope I'm not being churlish in pointing out that it should be "revealed" and not "Reveled." ;)

And they cut back funds for Amtrak. Can you imagine what the East would be like without Amtrak??

:o My ex-boyfriend works for Amtrak!  I wonder if he's affected by that. :-\

Oh, before I forget...

One other thing I loved about the closing night of Brain...

When poor DH Richard was up on stage being "tapped," I wasn't sure which I was enjoying more...HIS facial expressions, or the giggles of DR Ginny behind me...

:)

LOL. I was looking at Richard, then looking at Ginny, then looking at Richard, then looking at Ginny....I laughed equally at both....er...WITH both

Trust me, I don't think there will ever come a day when I won't stop talking about the food wonders of NYC (and elsewhere)... And being more than happy to share those wonders with others.

We love your food discussions and your sharing with others...

And speaking of Levain...

They're sort of hard to see in there due to the waxpaper, but they're there.  In the larger box, six each of the Chocolate Chip Walnut and Oatmeal Raisin; in the smaller box, four each of the Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, and the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip.

I also spy DR Singdaw's copy of DR PennyO's book
