Edi, is that Tom Hanks narrating on The War?
Where did they find these people who are telling their stories?

Yes, and finding people...that's a question for Peter. I'm glad you two got to meet the other night!

You seriously need your own website, and it should be funded by the places you recommend. Maybe you could call it "Jose Sent Me". People using this catch phrase would also get a 10% discount on their meal.

Quite a good idea! Plus do foodie tours.

Last night (well, actually the last two nights) I have been swamped trying to complete a poster for an organization that hired me to design it.  As always happens, the deadlines kept shrinking and changing as the days went by.  That is why I have been so far behind on reading posts this week.

Well, the poster is finished, it has been approved, and I am worn out.  So, I am now heading off to bed - because I can.

'night.

YES!

And I didn't even list their Chocolate-Banana Bread, their amazing baguettes, the Sourdough-Walnut-Raisin Rolls/Bread... and their daily sandwiches.  ;)

Well, hopefully, I will workout tomorrow morning.  Or at least step foot in the gym... The one that opened earlier this week... And that I joined a couple of weeks ago to take advantage of the special rates...  Just sayin'.  ;)

We can workout together--just a couple hundred miles apart. And stop at Levain afterwards--NO!

What Jose is leaving out is the proximity of the gym to Levain's...whether he must pass Levain's to get to the gym...and again upon his return.

Well... My gym is at 145th Street.  Levain is at 74th.  Not exactly, not exactly convenient.  But not entirely out of the question either.  ;)

I'm very happy that I saw SUCH GOOD FRIENDS tonight.  I sat with DR Ben and Anthony and sat directly in front of Mr & Mrs Larry Goldberg.  I thought Noel's show had a lot of wonderful moments, especially the McCarthy hearings in Act Two, and a wonderful cast. Liz Larsen seems to never leave the show, although I know she did at least once, and she's got a wonderful crew surrounding her. There are some wonderful musical numbers and some very funny throw-away numbers like the alarm clock commercial. It was also nice to see our bass player from "The Brain" playing the show.

My plan was to take the 104 bus to Lincoln Center and transfer to the No. 11 but the bus was going so slowly so I decided to take the subway at Broadway and 66th.  As I got to the subway I thought, that's Tuc Watkins, and it was! So I said to him, the last time I saw you was in the post office on 83rd; I thought you were in LA now.  He said that he was but he was back doing a few ONE LIFE TO LIVE episodes. He looked great, and he's such a sweetie.  I think his apartment's around the corner from mine.
