LOL!

I haven't tuned in to "As the World Turns" in a couple of weeks... I had forgotten just how "dramatic" soap opera people/characters can be at times.  As well as stupid.  ;D

to construct what Tim Tompkins, president of the Times Square Alliance, describes as “the Spanish Steps on steroids” a glowing, re- glass 27-step staircase that, as one British engineer boasted, will be able to accommodate 1,500 “fat Americans."

I didn't know there were plans for a Levain's depot nearby...  ;)

Well, the "Hershey's Store" and "M&Ms World" are just a few blocks away already.

Ah, maybe it should be spelled with the proper diacritical marks...

And has anyone else been following the reasons behind the delay of the premiere of the movie version of "The Kite Runner"?  Truly intriguing.

Media Check:

DVD:
Episodes of THE MILLIONAIRE (next to Adam -12, this is my favorite TV series!)

Mike, are you referring to the 1960's TV show where the guy handed out checks for a million dollars?

10/03 2:42 PM Place order for some shoes on-line (An Amazon partner special with free shipping and $5 off already reduced prices)

10/03 5:58 Receive Email advising that package has shipped

10/05 3:05 Door Bell rings - it's UPS man with my package - UPS man, no UPS truck! As the man in brown went trudging back up the street I asked about the absent Truck? He says the street was blocked off so he had to leave yhe truck  walk the package to me. I said he could have waited till tomorrow and his reply: No, a man derserves his package today!

My Mac Mechanic and I have a date for Monday at 2 pm! At that time he will hopefully set up the new computer and the printer.

It has a 20 inch screen and the following:
    * 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    * 1GB memory
    * 320GB hard drive1
    * 8x double-layer SuperDrive
    * ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB memory

I have no idea what any of it means, but it's all mine and it cost me too much money this week!
