Happy Saturday!  I've been cleaning today. I am still looking for eomething that does a good job on wood floors.  I'm just usinge the Swiffer Wet for Wood Floors. It's not supposed to leave a residue, but it does...I asked my mother what she uses and she said "Bruce Floor Cleaner"  I chuckled. Didn't I just see that here the other day?

Der Brucer, haven't seen them yet.  I have seen the Romney ads where he says that Republicans have to stop acting like Democrats in spending and morality.  I  think it's time to get out my rubber dart gun again.  It was very handy during the last election.  Whenever someone I don't like says things I don't like I shoot them.  Since I have an old fashioned TV it just sticks to the glass.

That skunk story has an aroma....

If its head is stuck in the jar, surely it would have run out of oxygen and died long before it wandered into the parking lot.

But even if it played as told, there's still a skunk with a "collar" full of jagged glass that is going to do something to it as time goes by.

There could have been enough air in the jar for the skunk, and maybe the jar hadn't been on it's head too long.

I too am very concerned about the glass collar, which now likely has a jagged edge.  The guy has been lucky so far, maybe it broke off without doing any harm.

Good shooting though, can't think of anything better he could have done.

All right!  I'm 'fessing up!

Last week, for the first time since the second episode of its first season (two years ago), I watched an episode of "Numbers" ...  and LOVED IT!

Rob Morrow, the execrable, has been subdued into a "regular" member of the cast rather than the "leading" member of the cast, it seems.  I watched again last night, and it was gratifying to see that most of the cast got time equal to his, if not moreso.

And it was another really GOOD episode.

Live and learn.

I'm recording & am please dto know the show was good.  I enjoyed the last few episodes from last season, if only Keith had stuck them out with me.

We differ on Rob Morrow though.  What I don't like about the show is they rarely use him enough for me, and I could do with less of the brother.

Last night I did the unthinkable.  Oh, not that for heaven's sake!  I stayed up until 11:00 p.m. so that I could watch my two favorite TV programs.  Okay, the only two I watch regularly, plus the third program that is still growing on me.

I love GHOST WHISPERER and NUMBERS.  Two great episodes last night.  Also, I thought the second episode of MOONLIGHT was an improvement over the initial episode.  I realize they had to set up the whole conceit for the show on the first episode, but I was bored.  Last night's episode was great.

The normal temperature for this time of year is 76 degrees.  We should only get up to 56 degrees today.  At least the sun is shinning.  It could be worse I suppose, the record high is 95 degrees.

DR MBarnum, Jason Santiago just won Mr Romance 2007 for being the coverman for romance novels.  Perhaps this may elevate your Dick & Jane reading material. although I doubt there's any literature in a romantic novel.

Who cares about the book, buy me the cover!

Oh, and BK, stop by the table of Tony Russel while you are at the Ray Courts show and tell him hello from me! We had planned on getting together this weekend in Burbank but because I had no vacation left I, as you can see, was unable to attend. Tony is one swell guy!

I can only assume, knowing Mr. Barnum, that the Tony Russel in question is in this photo.

Actually no, the shape of their jaw would allow an opening for air below the jawline.  The main problem would be condensation, causing the skunk the inability to know where it was going.  However, I have seen several animals get their heads stuck in jars, fortunately, never a skunk.

And just how many times does this show need to be orchestrated??  Blech, I prefer the clunky original Broadway cast recording, which is how the show should be!!!

It's by Chris Jahnke, who did LEGALLY BLONDE. He's the new flavor of the month.

Well, since David Krumholtz  is the producer of the show, I wouldn't count on his part of the brother being reduced.  Rob Morrow is not only the most uninterresting character, he is also the most uninteresting actor on the show.

In the back yard, one story beneath Woody's window, there is a weed growing. It is left over from last year. It is a very large weed. It now towers over the roof top! (How I miss Milky White!)

And this is our poor excuse for Fall!

I didn't know David Krumholtz was the producer.  Was he from the beginning?  I guess that is why the scripts have the "brother" figuring out things with math that should have been easy for the smart FBI brother.   If you like Rob as an actor or not, his character should not be dumbed down as it is at times.

You mean people can shot their gun like that in the open over there?!

And it's lucky that he did not kill or injure the animal!

The end result is ok but, imho, that guy is pretty dumb!

I held a skunk once (In Florida, from the Disney "farm"... taking some critters to show them to schools... ) and he never moved or spread me or anything! That fellow was so shy; he kept hidding his head under my arm.

François, are you sure your skunk had not been de-skunked?

I think it is sweet you got to hold a skunk, they are so very cute.  Echo was sprayed three times and the smell is rather horrendous & difficult to get rid of.

I don't know what I would have done.  How do you get a glass jar off of a head, sometimes going in is easier than coming out?  Remember, you only have moments to think about this.  I just hope the guy knew he could do the shot and get the result he did.

I'm still worried about the poor thing with the glass collar.
