The last performance of Starfighter was received rapturously by a capacity audience.  I hate to sound like a broken record, but again I was blown away by the sheer professionalism of the writers, cast, and crew.

I haven't seen the movie yet, so can't comment on DR FJL's adaptation, but the storytelling sure worked for me.  I already knew Skip's score, but it was such a delight to see and hear it performed live.  I got to speak with Fred and Skip briefly, as well as finally meeting the lovely DR Julie, who did a magnificent job.

Bravo and Brava to all, and to ALL of the HHW NYMF participants!

JRand, I hope the wedding is perfect!  And it gave Molly a reason to visit you. :)

He invites you out, so that you can pay?  How does that work?

Well, it's just how he is and everyone lets him get away with it.  He's the poor starving artist, who happens to be so busy with commissioned work that he complains about it.  When he starts doing it with me, I just say no to getting together. Then he miraculously has the money to pay his share.

DR MBarnum - So... You got the LCD TV at an estate sale? ???

I want to know if that is the end of the story about the good-looking guy in the blue turbin?  Is a blue trubin anything like a red hankie in the back pocket?

Jose, but it was an interesting ramble-thanks.

Although if you had broken it up more, we'd be much further along! :)

No comment.   :-X

I think that would be different in your case, Jose.  I don't think there was any suggestion of sex in Cillaliz's story.

I too, was expecting you to say that you had appendicitis though - your syptoms mirrored mine when I had it...did they absolutly rule it out?

Isn't your appendix on the right side? That's what Greg thought, anyway...

Goodess, that is some rather strong medicine's.

BIG VIBES YOU ARE BETTER SOON!

I'm curious, was the problem determined from blood work or x-rays or just from listening to you?

he looked into my ears, nose and mouth with his little doctor doohickey he listened to my chest and back while I took deep breathes and he watched me bend over and cough like I was trying to eject my lungs.  Once the coughing spasm was over and my wheezing attempts to breathe commenced and while my face slowly lost it's purple complexion he suggested the medicine mix.

I am still coughing liek crazy but not wheezing so much and the nasal spray has made breathing much easier

wellit's supposed to be on your right side... mine turned out to be on the left.. although the scar is on the right side becasue that's where they expected it to be....this was back in 1967 before lasoscaptic surgery and CAT scans and all the rest...

basically I had the choice between biting on a leather belt, being hit on the head witha mallet or taking laudeum

That was the end of the story. His wife and sister in law came in shortly afterwards.
