Other than word-smithing for the press, the real issue of previous productions must be: What previous production history would disqualify a show from being part of NYMF?

der Brucer

Good question.  I wonder if there is anything in the contract regarding your question - and the subsequent answer.  Especially since there have been some NYMF shows that have been kicking around for years.

Well, I was born when the original production went up - I was 10.

And I was there and have the Color Playbill to prove it!

They had color Playbills for DR JoseSPiano's birth?  It must have been quite a production!

No wonder he's a Broadway Baby!!

DR MBARNUM the only 3-color connection I have is from my DVD player to my Polaroid 37"HDTV.

The Comcast cable was installed by the technician.  I do have regular cables from my VCR to the TV and as you discovered the picture ain't so hot.

I started collecting pop music in the second half of the 1950's. My collection of 45 rpm discs covers 1955 - 1975 approx and my CD collection extends this interest back to 1950 (extend back!). Whilst I've updated virtually all my pop music tracks either by purchasing CDs or creating them, I've kept all the 45s.  It's only since the mid 70's that I started my collection of theatre related discs and soundtracks.

It helps that I've only ever lived in three homes in my life.  We've been in this one for 26 years. and the home is certainly large enough (ask Jose) to store the collection.

The DVDs just seem to accumulate. I rarely buy any when they are first issued so it's not really an expense of great magnitude.

Why would anyone need 14 pounds of raw red jasper?

I am back from Video Only and clerk Colin helped me diagram what should be hooked up where and with what. I am armed with some additional 3 pronged and HDMI cables and tonight after work we shall see what we shall see.

(Colin did alert me to the fact that the current cables I am using are cerainly on the lowest end of the picture quality spectrum...he hadn't realized I was in such dire need of upgrades).

Yes, indeed.  Anyone knows that you can't do a thing with it unless it's been cooked through.

Of course, that's not to be confused with the musical about theatrical producers in the mid-1800s, HELLO, D'OYLY!

Which production put the Carte before the horse.

They had color Playbills for DR JoseSPiano's birth?  It must have been quite a production!

We had color Playbills for Our Wedding . . . although I can't seem to find one in my collection.

DR Matth, do you have a regular DVD player or is it one of those upconvert DVD players.

If it is just a regular DVD player do you stil use an HDMI cord? Or is that cord only for an Upconvert DVD player?

All three of my players that have HDMI connections will upconvert if I choose them to (I do), but they don't have to upconvert. You can tell the player in the set-up menu that you just want it to be a progressive scan player and still run the image through HDMI.

No regular DVD player will upconvert using component (red-blue-green) cables.
