I just spent 3 hours wrestling with the computer, the stills animation program and trying to find all the pictures I used for the last cut, and finally everything is talking to one another. The amazing this is that me, a total Luddite, managed to do this without any technical support. Serves me right for upgrading to Tiger in the middle of a project!

BTW, I ordered one of Mr. Geissman's books a few days ago. Looking forward to delving into it!

I finished my taxes yesterday (probably contributed to my pain in the gut). I never thought that I would actually be happy that I made a lot less than the year before, but that's taxes fer ya.

So did I!
Well, actually, I stayed home from work today, BUT, I went to the Social Security office for a new Social Security card for my Borders' I-9 form,

Hmm, I bet that was the same office Craig & I went to.  They were very nice & made sure no one entering had a cell phone turned on. ;D

I'm interested in seeing it when things calm down. In addition to the gold and Mercer doc, I start work on stuff for the 2 part CLOSER that will air in December. And my little French boy just landed and will be in town for a few days.

Oh, and there's that CAT scan tomorrow...

My tax was finished yesterday too. Good news is that it may be (new laws) the last time I have to do it!  There are advantages to old age!

Just saw a preview for "Across the Universe"  a musical movie. Has anyone heard of this?

I think this will work...click HERE and then click on "Watch Review" for Robert Wilonsky and Richard Roeper's video review.  They very strongly disagree. ::)

I said (well I coughed and wheezed at  him I must admit) I was quite pleased to hear they would be repairing the rail, as we were still waiting for them to repair the previous damage done and wondered what the expected time frame for the repair might be
oh today, definitely today I was assured, and true to his word they did come and fix the whole top rail , the old and the new damage.

While you were at it, why didn't you tell them about the dent in your bumper, that was probably caused at the same time.

I trust the other scan will be just as non-stressful as this CAT one
