I did watch the first hour of LEGALLY BLONDE. Sort of fun but no great shakes, and that squealing audience was disconcerting.

I'm glad they filmed it widescreen at least, but hated the LEGALLY BLONDE/MTV bug that sat in the lower right corner of the show during the entire telecast.

And, of course, ALL the commercials.

Not the best singers in some of the younger parts either.

If everyone here made only fifty posts, we would be having a good posting day.

That is very strange about Cason's avatar. Why would it suddenly vanish into a little red X.

The audience for the taping of Legally Blonde was recruited and did not pay.  The orchestra section people had to wear pink, and, most importantly, not be over a certain age.  Pre-show, they were DIRECTED to scream and scream loudly.  Even so, the sweetening even in the five minutes I saw, was really obvious.

Tonight I'll either watch or record LIFE (which DR Ron raved about the other day) and, of course, there's another new episode of TORCHWOOD I'm eager to watch.

And I'll continue watching NCIS episodes. WOuld like to get into disc 3 by the end of the evening. Would like to finish the set by Monday afternoon if at all possible.

Well, I think I'll go watch a motion picture on DVD and try to get my system to calm down - I'm all roiled up.

It drowned out lyrics and dialog in several parts of the first hour that I watched.

I guess watching musicals on PBS has spoiled me, but I hated all the breakaways for commercials.

I find when things are going haywire that chocolate is a very good thing to have in my life

Is there anytime in one's life when chocolate is NOT a good thing to have?

I'm having tummy turmoil, which I'm sure is all related to the drowning feeling.

I had just put on my Carnegie-Mellon shirt Craig gave me when he called. :)  He wanted advice on which shirt & tie to wear with his suit as he has an interview on Monday.

It's great, the potential employers go to the school to interview the students on campus.  He has the interview in-between classes.

TOD:

Book - Shining
Film - Carrie

I'll never forgive Kubrick for not filming topiary scenes for the movie of The Shining.

I also like the book of Cujo (better than the movie, I thought, because we got to see the plot develop through the dog's eyes.

I was hooked on "Golden Years" before the plug was pulled.

ABBATOIR - that's the name of my next show, so that it can be at the top of all alphabetical listings.
