TOD:

A production of SHE LOVES ME at the Indiana Repertory Theater (long BEFORE Libby Appel showed up to ruin the place).  Just wonderful from beginning to end...and a delight!

Plays:  a fun fine production of THE DINING ROOM.  Frances Farmer in THE SEAGULL.

Lovely weather today.

I went shopping with the AMEX gift card that I was given for helping with the wedding (and thanks to the DRs for their congrats!).

I bought the COMPANY revival CD, the MARY POPPINS 2-disc special edition Soundtrack CD (the Sherman Brothers songs are so perfectly placed in the film, I have always been astonished how lovely and fun the album/cd is to listen to on its own), a book about Alexander the Great, and a book about I Ching.

Vibes to all those with ailments!~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This might sound dumb.  But BK in order to find out what is wrong with you maybe you should go see your doctor.

I guess it's hard to tell if it's just a cold or if you need antibiotics sometimes.  But even sometimes just going to a pharmacy can help. If you tell the pharmacist what is wrong sometimes they suggest what to take!

TOD:

Play: original RSC production of Nicholas Nicklby. I saw the show in one day. Brilliant production and performers playing multiple roles.

Musicals:
For pure entertainment and a performer who was a joy to watch. Carol Channing's last tour (the one that BK recorded) of Hello Dolly!

I had to put shorts on for my lunch outing. Yep, though the mornings remain cool, it's started heating up again in the afternoons - 80 today.

It is pouring here & chilly 52 degrees.  I hope it eases up before I take Sherlock to his training class.

The sun was shining when we left for a hike this morning.  We finished just as it began to drizzle.

I began my afternoon by finishing NCIS, and though it was mildly entertaining and with some very ingratiating characters, I was glad to be finished with it, but most of all because of the shoddy nature of the transfers. To have to sit through six discs of soft, fuzzy, grainy TV shows was akin to torture.

I was so eager to see a DVD that looked good that I put in a disc from the BONES - Season 2 set just to watch for fun. I stupidly picked disc 6 which had only one episode on it - the season finale which I had watched in HD just a few weeks ago before the new season began.

Still, very entertaining, and it looked BEAUTIFUL compared to those awful NCIS transfers.

After the BONES episode, I watched today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. The gays were back in business, but it doesn't appear that they'll be on tomorrow.
