In other news...

One of my "Janes" in Mary Poppins gave me a very nice Thank You card today, as well as a Macy's Gift Card.  :)  She has her put-in tomorrow afternoon, and then she's on Saturday afternoon for the first time.

Nursie! What a calamity!  Is it a huge cast? Has Keith signed it?  Are you suing the owner of the mutt that ran over you?

.

 ;D

i don't have a cast yet, just a splint.

HHW is a hotbed of health issues, isn't it?
DR Jane - here are your healing vibes from Miss Dixie Bell:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DR fjl, please continue to drink your cherry juice and to rub the inflamed, painful area with Preparation H.
And, DR TCB, get that shoulder into working order!  That's an order!
I took Mum for her cortisone shot in the knee this morning, no more pain for hopefully another eight months. . .
Yes, DR FJL - I'm very serious about the gout cure called Preparation H.
It's probably simpler if I just say to type gout preparation h into a google search, where you'll find countless recommendations.
And from the Bureau of Social Security:
Quote
Now what can you do to treat gout? Generally, treatment of gout begins with pain management, and this is usually achieved with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and glucocorticoid injections in the affected joints. Additionally, ibuprofen or ointments such as Preparation H may help with inflammation on a short-term basis.
I don't know if our darling Jane has actually read any of the short stories in How To Write A Dirty Book and Other Stories, but if she reads Maddie, she'll find out exactly how someone deals with having a cast and scratching.  Feel better!
I think I'm through for today in terms of work.  Set lots of rehearsals, booked our one new cast member, had lots of telephonic calls, took care of some business that needed taking care of, and now I think I'll go do some marketing.
bruce-thanks.
I'll have to go back and refresh my memory regarding maddie.  considering your claustrophobia i'm sure you can understand how difficult coping with this  is for me.
yet, i know dr kerry would have preferred as simple a break, or 2.
DR MATTH - Fanny Brice singing "Cooking Breakfast for the One I Love" is available on Nipper's Hits of the 30's, a CD I bought for pre show music for THE SUNSHINE BOYS.
There are two volumes from the 30's and one from the 20's - some of your songs may be on these.
Here is the link to the first one.  I love it!!   ;D
Yikes, DR JRand, I'd wondered if you were getting any severe weather!  Looks like we're in for it in the middle of the night.
BK, re: your 12 yr old boy.
I'll bet the kid from UGLY BETTY would be incredible (mark indelicato).  I'll bet he's about 12!
You probably don't know him. But he's done a bunch of musical theatre numbers on the show. He is fantastic!
