We lost power at work at about 3:00 because a tree fell down on a power line and we were all sent home!

I went to my sister's house (she still has power) and put up a light fixture over her new kitchen counter (after turning off the power). I'm now at home and it looks like I didn't loose power here, at all.

i went to change into something more comfortable and couldn't find anything warm that will fit over my arm, except what i had the foresight to change into before driving to the hospital.

i hope i figure this out before i go to bed.

I'm going to disconnect my computer so it doesn't get fried if we have severe storms overnight. Then I'm going to crawl into bed and read some more of the book that my book group discussed tonight without me. They weren't expecting me, because I thought I'd get back from Columbus too late. When my trip to Columbus got scrubbed, I decided to hibernate for the evening anyway.

I am going to watch THE ENEMY BELOW....a submarine movie with Robert Mitchum and Curt Jurgens....never seen it....but I think I feel like a submarine movie tonight.

my issues with getting rid of things came to my rescue today. earlier i wore a shirt that had been bryan's, then craig's and is now mine. it is way too big and i only wear it around the house once in awhile. it was the only half way warm clothing i knew would fit over a cast.

now i'm wearing an old pj top of craig's. i should have trashed it when ioana took the bottom's and left only the top. who would really expect to only need the top one day

Well, I'm suspecting that someone's mama also covered the expense of the gift cards.
