RE: last night's HEROES.

SPOILERS

SPOILERS

SPOILERS

I also liked last night's show.  No twins (yeah!). But more surprisingly, no Claire (for the first time!).

Interesting seeing Peter's painting of Montreal.

I liked Kristen Bell and her power. But she was so Veronica Mars. I was wondering if they asked her to be that way or if she chose to (or if that is just how she always is). But i still love her.  And i am dying to know who her dad is.

The fight scene with matt and nathan was awesome.

And i love micah and monica. And i loved their scenes together.

Btw, does this mean matt had a baby? (or was that just a dream?).

I love Peter. But i want him to get out of Ireland.

I"m curious if Veronica Mars is good or bad.

No wonder I don't understand Shakespeare, I can't even understand a JIF commercial.  :)

And the dialogue is equally confusing.

Thanks for the link DR FJL.

And as for BK's newest addition, Kevin Earley, I must admit that I also find he has a fine crooning voice...and he doesn't do all that modern voice oogling that so many of them do nowadasy.

Here is a link to hear for yourself...I may just have to purchase a CD.

I had a hobby horse named Ernie; it was named for our next door neighbor, who often baby-sat me.
My father used to bring me home a Little Golden Book several times a week, whenever he went shopping, he brought me a book.  I had quite a collection of Little Golden Books.
I really remember all of the reading material I had as a child - Disney put out a BIG Little Golden Book which had the stories of all of the Disney flicks that I liked to hear at bedtime. . .
Oh, and I had tons of 78s!  . . .and a little portable record player. . .
I also have seen home movies of me with my  . . .ummm, how to phrase this, horse-head on a stick, which I rode around the neighbor hood and the house. . .
Well, I think I've given DRs coleslaw and TCB enough ammunition for one afternoon. . .

Dear Dear Readers and BK,

I'm applying for a job and I need to write a cover letter for my resume. And I don't know from cover letters. Can one of you all-knowing people please help me? Pretty please with Cherry Coke on top?

It's for the job of trained monkey who sits in the little booth in a parking garage and charges people two dollars on their way out.

Also, I had a little pink gingham doll named Lolly when I was just a sprig of a twig of a tad of a lass. I still have her.

DR Ron Pulliam - do you know if the actors portraying the other Scavo boys on Desperate Housewives are actually brothers of Zane Huett?

I believe that they are not related to him, but they are twins.

I began my afternoon with last night's CSI: MIAMI. OK mystery with lots of suspects.

Once again, Ryan was allowed one scene. I thought after last week, there would be an opening in the lab and that he could be rehired. I guess not, or at least, not yet.

Good Afternoon!

I like that JIF commercial too.

And I also like that other peanut butter commercial with the father and the daughter where he talks about how he used to love to eat his peanut-butter sandwiches folded in half, and then she proceeds to do the same.  Awww...

Of course, that classic AT&T one with the parents at the table.. "So, why did he call?"...  :(

See? If you don't watch TV (and I don't watch much) you miss much of American culture. You don't get the jokes (me), you don't get the references (me). One day it came up in conversation that I'd never seen the Brady Bunch and a young woman, totally aghast, said, "You never saw the Brady Bunch???"" She just couldn't believe that.

I loved Little Golden Books when I was a kid.  I was relieved to see that they are still available; although, surprise, surprise, they did issue them on CD-ROMs back in 2000.
