I did not brave the wet WINDY world today.  Dog training class was canceled for tomorrow, which is a good thing.  I have loads of work & errands to do.

DaNiece, well done! :)

I wish it still had carhops.  Craig could go there with his dog & eat in the car.

Jane--I don't remember the carhops but I do remember drive-ins--which by the way still exist here. Simpler times I imagine. Have a great evening and thank you again.

Or maybe I will take a nap.

I vote for Jack Benny.

And yes DR TCB, you are correct, that gentleman in the photo is Howard Hawks.  ;D

My buddy Jim and I just went to Tin Tin Buffett and stuffed ourselves with all types of Chinese delights!

"Tin Tin Buffet" - canned Chinese - how odd!

DaNiece, a carhop was the person who took your oder at your car.  I should have said drive-in, but that made me think of a drive-thru.  Carhop more fun to me.  I can't remember any on roller skates, only in the movies.

Bruce, were there any in L.A. on skates?

Thanks for the email. I figured out what I did wrong.

The book is interesting, surprisingly so. It's also very readable.

Sunday evening greetings!  It's been another lovely Sunday here for us, despite the rain, wind, and cold.  I agree with DR JRand - glad the temps weren't 20o colder!

Richard left for church at his usual time and Rob and I followed about an hour later.  We helped Richard and the substitute priest set up for the service and helped them clean up afterward.  Then we went to The University of Cincinnati for the dance concert in which Rob's girlfriend performed in one of the modern dance pieces.  The four of us went to dinner at Maya's Dionysus near campus and Richard and I got home not long ago.

Sorry to have missed DR Hisaka!

So you're cheering for Ohio State?

As long as they're not playing against Michigan and knowing how much they want to try to redeem themselves after last year's national championship game - yeah, OK, g-g-g-go, B-b-b-bucks.

Okay, let's have a haineshisway.com tutorial - how do you post clips to youtube?  Do you have to put them on your computer hard drive?  Don't they take up a huge amount of space?  Or is it easier than that?  And, if you do put them on the hard drive, how do you do so and isolate the sequence you want?

I started to watch a new anime feature I got, which is, of course, subtitled.  It was very comical - me, not the feature - literally every ten seconds I'd start to doze off, then I'd hear a line in Japanese and snap awake, click rewind, read the subtitle, and then doze off again.  It happened about eight times before I finally paused the DVD and fell asleep for thirty minutes.  I think a donut might just wake me up.  Two donuts would definitely wake me up.

Once you’ve finished editing your video, made sure it's less than 10 minutes, smaller than 100MB, and in an acceptable format, you're ready to upload it.

Click "Upload Videos" in the upper-right-hand corner of any YouTube page.
Enter as much information about your video as possible, including Title, Description, Tags, and Category. The more information you include, the easier it is for users to find your video!
Determine if you want your video set to Public or Private.
Click the "Upload a Video" button.
In the next window, click the "Browse" button to browse for the video file. Select the file you want to upload.
Click the "Upload Video" button.
It can take from a couple minutes to an hour for your video to upload to YouTube.
If you're receiving an error with your Upload, you might want to make sure you're attempting to upload a file that's recognized by YouTube. YouTube accepts video files from most digital cameras and camcorders, and cell phones in the .AVI, .MOV, .WMV, and .MPG file formats.

Good Evening!

BK - As for posting videos to YouTube.com...  Once you're registered with the site, just click on the "Upload" link at the top right of the screen.  You will then be "directed" to all the info you need.
