There are some studies and theories that the venom from some spiders can give relief to those suffering from MS, Huntington's Chorea etc. Perhaps your spider bite will Help the shoulder TCB.  I've also read that some of the toxins from marine creatures (possibly the Stone Fish) may be a help in relieving musle pain.  (I don't think the studies were comtemplating the use of Death as a relief).

...But it nice coming home for a bit and relaxing.

After I left DR elmore's office, and hugged DR edisaurus and Greg, I headed back uptown to meet my friend, Paul.  We walked here, we walked there.  We went to Virgin - where they added a few more two-disc sets to their $10 Sale.  So, I picked up "Casablanca" and "Doctor Zhivago".

Then we headed over to The Little Pie Shop for some pie and hot cocoa and conversation and gossip.  All in all, a wonderful day so far.

I don't think we have any Virgins in Tacoma.

Tomovoz - I had been on notice about the WOMAN IN WHITE projections, and (seriously) took a Dramamine before seeing that show.  I didn't get dizzy, but there's no way of knowing whether the Dramamine prevented me from getting dizzy or if I wouldn't have gotten dizzy anyway.

Oh!  Word of "warning" - at least for the male members of HHW:

Paul is staying at The Paramount Hotel.  The bathrooms in the hotel lobby have mirrored walls.  On all four sides of the room.  With low-placed urinals, and no "modesty" dividers.  Alas, the homeless man who unfortunately came in there with me this afternoon, proceeded to admire himself and "himself" from all angles.  And I think he was trying admire me too.

 :o

I will pass on using that bathroom.

Jose, who are playing the leads in SUNDAY?

OH!  And it seems like almost all the cookware I placed on craigslist yesterday will be bought and picked up by tomorrow night!  In fact, there are two people heading up now to buy a couple of things.  :)

I hope the DVDs I put up for sale start attracting some offers.

How about your personal ad?

I’m deciding if we should try to duplicate the photo, only with me sitting in the chair.

Oh, I hope so!   :D

DR TCB - Is there anyone you could call just to get a consult?  Or maybe even stop by a drugstore pharmacist's desk to get some sort of opinion?  Or you could Google for spider bite pics... :-\

~~~~~BITE-BE-GONE VIBES TO YOU!~~~~~
From the pictures I have found, it is most likely a brown recluse, even though my arm isn't as swollen as last time.
I have been using an Epsom Salt poultus on it this afternoon to try and draw some of the poison out, but so far it doesn't look much different.
Didn't the New York production of Jane Eyre also use "projected" scenery?
DR FJL - I wasn't sure if they had used the same set up in NY as in London for W in W - so much seemed just for the sake of using technology. We were pleased to NOT return after the interval.
Don't forget to accessorize - a small strand of seed pearls would do nicely.
der Brucer
First, the purple hair extensions for the Vixter, and now this. Is this a side to der Brucer that I missed???    ;)
What a cool story about the crow and the kitten.  The kitten looks a lot like Boo did when she was a stray
Just you watch...
This may soon become a frequently-invoked excuse!  ;)
Those of us who keep diaries sometimes do something because we know it would write up so well. Woody Allen also said something like that once. Why not?
It was indeed. I also loved that when the family adopted the kitten the crow would be there in the morning waiting until the kitten could come out to play
