He has been quite noticeably absent from posting the past 6 days.

I hope he's well and that nothing anyone (like me) has written has disturbed him.

That's a possibility.  8)

One of the last things (or, actually, the last thing) MBarnum posted was that he loved "Hollywood and the Stars" and the theme music from same.

I've been wanting to tell him that there exists a recording by the composer, Elmer Bernstein with the RPO Pops, that has a really wonderful rendition of the "Hollywood and the Stars" theme.  The entire recording is "mixed" for me, as I think Bernstein took some of his tempi too slowly, but that particular track is the highlight of the album for me and makes it worth the price just to have it.

God, I adored "Hollywood and the Stars"-   the series and theme.  I have an episode on video..... somehwere......

If not, I have it on videotape here.

I did have a video I would watch once in awhile.  I think that is long gone now, as well as our video player.

Finished writing seven pages, but will probably do a page or two more of the new chapter.  But, I've just passed manuscript page two hundred.  Whew!

I should walk down to the mail box.  We were surprised the UPS guy came up our road today, having chains helped.  He said there weren't any tire tracks on our road.  We aren't surprised ;D.  I'll probably see foot & paw prints on my walk.

For fun, see if you can find their "Mack and Mabel" dance.  If you do, post the link here.

Well, I have been worrying and fretting over a phone call I needed to make wherein I had to explain stupid errors. Whew! The fella in charge is a doll. He understood and told me that he's done the same thing and that we are a team and work together. I feel better now.

Since things have been on the "ice" side today, here is a YouTube video of my favorite ALL-TIME skate by an ice dancing pair -- Marina Anissina and Gwendal Peizerat of France in their free dance to "Carmina Burana" at the 2000 World Championships (they WON).

My favorite all-time Pairs skate was from the 2003 World Championships when China's Shen and Zhao won the Gold with this spectacular "Turandot" routine.

Amazing performance.

May he be the doctor from of your dreams.

She wasn't.  Fortunately, the snow caused a cancellation and they switched me over to my regular doctor.  As it turned out, I was grateful that they did.

I didn't study long enough. Christmas blew it.

At least I had the blood drawn before I went to that conference center last weekend with too much good food. Because it would be sky-high now.
