Well, the SPARTANS reviews are pathetic, but I plan to laugh at the total stupidity of it.

I'd second THE LAST SWEET DAYS OF ISAAC, one of the strangest musicals I've ever seen, and add Al Carmines' IN CIRCLES.

Good morning!

Colder this morning than I was expecting, and the forecast says it's not moving out of the 40s today, so I'll be bundling up for lunch out later

TOD:

I've talked about it ad nauseum here, but I'd first transfer STARS OF THE SILVER SCREEN 1929-1930. I finally wised up and transfered it to audio tape because the LP was sounding so scratchy now that it's in danger of being unlistenable.

I'd transfer the soundtrack to PORGY AND BESS which is the version I always listen to when I'm in a P&B mood.

I'd transfer the Mary Martin/HELLO DOLLY!

TV Reminders:

Many here are greatly anticipating it, but LOST premieres its new season tonight. Eight of the planned sixteen episodes for the season have been completed.

New episodes of SMALLVILLE and SUPERNATURAL tonight.

The premiere of ABC's quirky ELI STONE which I'm looking forward to sampling.

MattH, the soundtrack to Porgy and Bess is on CD, a Japanese import.  It comes up regularly on eBay and is never too pricey.

Once again, the mail will determine what's on the viewing agenda for today. I do have RENO 911! from last night to watch.

Otherwise, I guess I'll start BEAUTY AND THE BEAST today. At least it was a shortened season and only three discs worth of episodes.

We got a memo at work encouraging us to wear red tomorrow, Feb 1, to raise awareness for women at risk of heart disease.  Has anyone else heard about this?

I'm thinking of wearing my little red number:

And, if I may ask:

How does one go about seeing DR Rodzinksi on the small screen?  His movies don't appear to be on Amazon.

Singdaw, I have several DVDs in the Tom Nondorf "Classic" collection. I can supply you with accidently made copies. You supply the address.

You are right, DR MBarnum.  I should wear my red kurta instead.
