Thank you George & Singdaw.

I'm very confused.  A weather report flashed on my computer, when I read the details it was for a high surf warnings.  We are no where near the surf.

If the surf is high enough to reach Ashland, then we are in a world of hurt! LOL!

Had the muse Margaret conversation.  Read her the revised, which she liked, but she still thought more could come out in the next couple of pages, so I'm now rethinking and revising those and making them a little more succinct.

I'd second THE LAST SWEET DAYS OF ISAAC, one of the strangest musicals I've ever seen, and add Al Carmines' IN CIRCLES.

A dear family friend (Barbara Rosenblat, who was in the original cast of Secret Garden and far too few other Broadway shows) was in a production of In Circles directed by Carmines. Odd show, but I'm glad I got a chance to see it.

TOD: There's a George Feyer LP called "Heavenly Echoes of My Fair Lady" wherein he imagines songs from the show in the style of different classic composers; my copy has an unfortunate scratch, and I'd love to hear it in its full glory again.

Was reading about Al Carmines.  Sounds like an interesting fellow who lived...well, out there...  :)

Is that the same Barbara Rosenblat who is an audiobook reader?  She is very, very popular among listeners.

I would only appear in the Fox documentary IF I was alongside Dr. Drew Casper so I could throttle him onscreen.

I think a lively debate and/or scuffle between you and Dr. Drew Casper would be worth the price of the DVD extras.

Lunch ran much longer than planned, and the beautiful blue sky we had has now vanished behind a thick overlay of clouds. Rain seems certain at this point.

Although I did get MARGOT AT THE WEDDING from Paramount this afternoon (not due until February 19th), I went ahead with my original plans and began the third and last season of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

The season premiere was actually a two-part episode. By the end of it, Linda Hamilton's character has given birth (child is stolen) and then Linda dies. No wonder the show didn't run past this season. Without that sexual attraction between the two characters, where's the show? It will be interesting tosee where they go with this for the remaining episodes.

I have to say that Edward Albert, who plays a supporting role on the show, is sporting the thickest, ugliest mullet in the history of hair. Such a beautiful man to ruin his looks with such a crappy hairstyle.

Next, I watched last night's RENO 911! An off-night for the show, I thought. None of the skits tickled me very much.

I concluded my afternoon viewing by skimming through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Luke was on during the first half of the show but disappeared at the halfway point never to return. He was not in the previews for tomorrow.

Well, the SPARTANS reviews are pathetic, but I plan to laugh at the total stupidity of it.

Kevin Sorbo still looks pretty damn good after all these years away from HERCULES.  In fact, in another year or two, Michael Barnum will be ready to date him.

I'm also a little bit bummed out by the televsion schedule tonight. My local CW affiliate is showing the Duke basketball game tonight beginning at 9, so SUPERNATURAL is being delayed until 12:35. That part I could take since I'll have the DVR pick it up. I wasn't going to be able to watch it today anyway. However, the recording the affiliate will make will not be in HD. SUPERNATURAL is SO much better in HD than SD. Sure, I can stand it for once, but it is disappointing. In another year, there won't be any more of these analog broadcasts so that won't be a worry any more.

Is anyone out there enough of a hick to explain the appeal of football?

I didn't realize that I had to be a hick to appreciate the game of American Football.

Der  Brucer, There is no reason for this family to change how they prefer to dress just to please small minded people.

No, not if they don't mind the goodly number of small minded people making life uncomfortable for them.

I must admit that if I saw a women in a burka, the first thought that would enter my mind would be "Islamic Terrorist". And I would support my local school board if they chose to ban people wearing burkas from school grounds; and, I would support my local community if they chose to ban people wearing burkas from entering public buildings.

Frankly, if you won't show your face, you are not welcome!
