And the word of the day is: SUPPURATE!  Find a song for THAT one!

From ye olde summer camp days: Great Green Gobs...

Happiest of days to Kerry & Donald!

I'm catching up on yesterday's posts.

There seems to be some confusion.  I never said that hicks were the only people who "like" football.

What I said was "Is anyone out there enough of a hick to explain the appeal of football?"  The referral (from DR Ginny, our expert information waitress) to Andy Griffith's routine helped greatly.

And while I'm referring to yesterday's posts:

There are a few women who come to the store who wear burkas.  They are, to a woman, very kind, polite, well spoken, and (judging from their shopping carts) interested in feeding their families well, with lots of fresh veggies and fruits and little pre-processed foods.

OK, on that last, yeah, I'm a snob.  But I like these customers.  I really do.

Okay.  If that's your story, then you stick to it!

For the first day in what seems like "weeks", we are having some pure, unadulterated sunshine in Oakland this morning.

And for some reason....ohhh, I don't know why....it makes me a bit cheery.  I just want to sing:

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy
Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely
Sunshine almost always makes me high

All it takes is a little Google.   ::)

I have reduced my work email storage "footprint" from 100% full  to 74% full.

That is all.

And I'm off for today.  first a meeting with Karen Mason about some work and then back to the apartment to continue the cleanup.

See you tomorrow!

What a morning.  I got up at nine, had to answer some e-mails including one response that took fifteen minutes to write (about the musical) and then I had to have a thirty minute phone conversation about same.  I'm almost ready to start writing, but not quite.

Staying in their boroughs, probably.

Hello, everyone.

It's pouring buckets here.

I hope you have a sturdy umbrella and a high-impact helmet.
