Since Saturday/Sunday one of the screws in my ankle has been quite sore.  I have attributed it to the weather we've had.  I've been walking around like a 90 year year old saying, "Oy" about every 10 seconds.  The problem is now that I have been over- compensating  since then while laying  and sitting down and have a muscle cramp on the other side.  The muscle spasms are going away, but I sure hope I don't have to be re-screwed.... in the ankle.  (Jose, Singdaw, TCB:  no comments are necessary)   ;)

Additionallly, since I don't have a lot of a hair to work with I gave myself a haircut.  And guess what?!!  It looks like I gave myself a haircut.  Not to mention  that I forgot to put the guard on the shaver, so it's a really short home haircut!    Luckily no one really looks at me anyway (luckily in this particularr instance at least).  The haircut is as successful and fashionable as a Toni Home Permanent my mother gave my sister when she was little.   :P

To Hell with your ankle, Kerry; we need to get you some happy pills.

For those that read CABARET SCENES magazine and I know everyone here does........

I have one of my photos being published in connection with an interview with Mr. Jason Graae. Mr. Graae himself requested the photo. (It's with him and Alex Rybeck)

Yippee!  Great to know that tracked you down. . .I wonder who pointed him in the right direction   ???

The new will is signed; the Macbeths get $10.00 for their kindness.  $10.00, no more, no less.

Still no money from my cabaret lady.  Damn!

Couldn't you just leave them a jar of dead bed bugs?

I may also remember to buy the most recent David Hobson CD today. I may also accidently copy it and then be wondering what to do with the copies.  Suggestions?

Who is David Hobsen?

Does anyone know off the top (or other section) of their heads what mechanicals are these days?  I haven't licensed anything for a few years but my bossa nova group is going to record a new CD and it looks like I'm in charge of the Harry Fox hoo-hah.

Could someone translate this post for me?

Who is David Hobsen?

Australian tenor. He was Rudolfo in Baz Luhrmann's original 1950s staging of LA BOHEME. He was in the American premiere of Conrad Susa's opera LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES at San Francisco Opera.

About a week or so ago I posted apic of Shirley Jones in her guest stint on Days.

I did watch these scenes for I was curious to see Shirley in action. .

The urls will be listed in order of the parts.

Part 1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSVxd7q5GLU

Part 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvAg4PIcbQ8

Part 3
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgSKrVNLhc0

Part 4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SVj8TnkTk0

Part 5
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XXh20Lick0

Part 6
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwJn-PlKk_w

Part 7
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkCCapR5CjQ

I suspect there will be a few more clips coming donw the pipes. I think Shirley did a pretty believeable job with the IRish accent... FAr better than Julia Roberts' attempts in MARY REILLY and MICHAEL COLLINS
BTW, there are some comments I do not agree with especially few who say that there is some brilliant acting by a few people.

TCB, I know likes Dee and she is in most of the clips also

Ever since that most recent FOLIES clip was mentioned here at HHW, I have had that song "Who's That Woman?" stuck in my head.  Today it finally stopped.  So, I come home from work, open up HHW, and what do I read?

Lard, lard, lard
That woman is me!

:)

(almost a Follies reference)

Life is precious and tenuous.

So true.

I found the trip for Blizzards, comfort food for Elan & his family, very touching at the end of the story.

Comfort vibes to all affected by this sad event.

Who's that woman?

I love the London version (as seen on the Royal Command performance).

The "In concert" version annoys me because  "woman' is pronounced "womIn".

Actually I just booked myself into some cheap motel in Glendale, but I do plan to eat at The Sportsman's Lodge at some point during my trip. After all, if it was good enough for Allison Hayes to dine at, it is good enough for me!

I suspect the food was better back then ;D

I suggest having a light lunch or drinks around the pool, if that is permitted & the weather is nice.  I not sure I would want to have dinner there.
