Well, I'm off to see not the wizard, but a local production of a show called 6 Women With Braindeath or Expiring Minds Want to Know.  I've never heard of this show.  We'll see if it's any good.  A couple of people I know are in it and they're good, so that's good enough for me. ;)

DR TCB should be quite aware of David Hobson's CD with Anthony Warlow!

Boy, do I feel dumb.  I listened to the CDs, but didn't pay any attention, except to Mr. Warlow.  I guess I should try reading the credits on the front cover!

Today is the first day that the outbreak on my arm has looked like it is starting to heal.  Most of the infection looks like it is going away.  The wound itself is still pretty disgusting, but I am feeling positive that I may be near the end of the first outbreak.

Is anybody planning on watching the new BIG BROTHER starting on Tuesday?

Apparently the twist this year is that each person in the house had to undergo some type of testing. And they are being paired with their "soulmate". They will have to sleep in the same bed as this soulmate, win HOH together, do everything together and i think even be evicted together.

There is one gay couple. And i think 16 people total.

The things these reality shows come up with.  I wonder how young the guy is they are hooking the 45 year old mother with.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone!  I received an e-mail from my cyber-father-in-law that I should get online posthaste, so here I am.  I'm happy to see so many familiar faces.

And now for the vibes report -

Vibes for Evan the next door neighbor
Vibes for our dear and wonderful TCB for a quick recovery.
Vibes to all others who might need them for any such reasons.

Glad to see you all again, and to see that the site is thriving indeed!

I began my evening by finishing BECOMING JANE listening to the audio commentary and reading the pop-up annotations and notes. The notes were far more interesting and less irritating that the commentary, one of the least animated commentaries I've ever heard. It's like all three of the men were taking slow-down pills or something. SO lethargic.

Next, I watched the 1979 remake of THE CHAMP which was on one of the HBO channels. I didn't watch the whole thing. Just enough to take me to 8:30.

Good Evening!

I'm back from Applause... It was a final dress, so I will refrain from any type of "review".  However, I will say that an announcement was made right before the show started that Ms. Ebersole had been stricken with the flu since last Saturday.  Today was her first day back in rehearsal, however, she was still under the weather.  But she went on tonight.  -As Jack Viertel noted, if The Metropolitan Opera can make such announcements, well...  In any case...  I'm sure the chat boards will be hopping tonight.  And probably through the weekend.
