I watched for the first (and last) time, THE BIG BANG THEORY (a rerun). It's gotten great reviews (four nerdy guys in search of women). Yes, there were some bright lines and typically goofy, egg-headed comedy, but I didn't enjoy it enough to want to watch it again.

Oh, for heaven's sake, Coleslaw!  What am I going to do with someone that young?  Throw him over my shoudler and burp him???

Well, if you can find a diaper that big... ;)

At 9, I rewatched LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT. I had seen the episode before, but not in HD. This was the one with Bobby's brother coming back into his life. Of course, any time I can watch Tony Goldwyn in HD (even with the make-up to make him look like a street person), I'm there.

Well, I'm off to see not the wizard, but a local production of a show called 6 Women With Braindeath or Expiring Minds Want to Know.  I've never heard of this show.  We'll see if it's any good.  A couple of people I know are in it and they're good, so that's good enough for me. ;)

I <heart> this show!  Just so wacky, and sooooo wrong!  ;D

Today is the first day that the outbreak on my arm has looked like it is starting to heal.  Most of the infection looks like it is going away.  The wound itself is still pretty disgusting, but I am feeling positive that I may be near the end of the first outbreak.

Happy news indeed, Sir!

I concluded my evening with tonight's LAW & ORDER. A very intriguing episode with a master con woman in complete control. Really clever plotting of this week's episode.

On my way out of City Center, I happened to run into John Kander who had also been there tonight.  After exchanging hugs, he gave me the rest of his chocolate bar.  -He knows me too well.  :)  -And I think that will be the title for my autobiography:

"John Kander Gave Me His Chocolate"

Found out the new Criterion version of THE LAST EMPEROR is on its way to me. Still nothing about the LUBITSCH MUSICALS. Even if I get them, they'll be reviewed far past street date.

And while I was talking with Mr. Kander, Karen Mason happened to come up to say Hi to him too.

DR elmore - Both John and Karen send their best.

I went ahead and started a load of laundry, mainly because I did not want to come back home to a full laundry basket Monday night, so...  And I will starting packing soon.  I think.  I hope.  *I'm really just tempted to wake up at 6:00 tomorrow morning, and take care of packing and cleaning before I leave for the airport a little after 9:00.

What class!  :)  I'll consider the event postponed & you will have a chance in the near future.

Thanks, Jane.

I really have to say, that I really needed today.  Yesterday was one of those very rare days when I just wanted to get out of the biz.  Today, I was reminded just why I love I what I do, and why I want to continue doing it.

Tomorrow I'll attempt to get to PROJECT RUNWAY, RENO 911, and CSI: NY. Might take me until the weekend to get everything watched. The DVDs just keep on comin'.

Oh, he is sweet boy! He is a German Shephard mix, maybe collie. He is just so mild mannered and well behaved and gentle. The kids in my family all just adore him and the adults always wonder why my dog behaves so much better then their dog.

He was running loose in Clackamas county and someone there found him and took him in while trying to search for his owners. After two weeks and no luck finding who he belonged to they had to bring him to the Humane Society as they could not keep a dog where they lived. My guess is that he was abandonded...maybe his owner died and the family didn't want to deal with a dog and figured if they dropped him off in some neighborhood he would find a home. That is the only thing I can figure, because surely if he was just lost someone would have claimed him.

2 years, on my way home from the gym, I stopped off at the Humane Society, as I often do just to look around, and I spotted Bosco amongst the other rag tag and rowdy dogs. He was the only one not barking and jumping around. I then went to look at the bunnies and cats and couldn't get this dog off my mind...so I asked to visit with him and then I put a $10 hold on him and gave it a good thought over night and then decided to get him the next day.

When I originally went in to the pound that day I had no intention of getting a dog, or any animal for that matter...but, well, I am sure glad I changed my mind! In all of my life I have never made a better purchase.

I am convinced the animals pick us, we don't pick them

Der Brucer- about Ron Paul, I was *9* in 1988.

And now I've just made a lot of people here feel particularly old, I bet.

I was defending those charged with crimes in Phoenix in 1988..

TCB, a mechanical is the per-song per-copy fee you pay to record someone else's material.  I did get an answer from Harry Fox (the company that handles it): 9.1 cents per song per copy (if the song is under 5 minutes).  So if you have 1000 CDs pressed, that's $91.00 per song.
