The shipping company called me on Monday to schedule the bed delivery for today between noon and 5 pm.  The driver showed up at 11 am, God knows what the hell was the reason.  I've now assembled the bed but now I have no idea where I want to place it in the room.  My current thought is up the landlord's  derriere but that's another story.

I also got a testy voice message from my colleague about my dismay over the invoice situation this week. I really want to kick some butt today, and I don't like this anger.

Give 'em hell, Larry!! >:(

Well, I need to do some writing, and then it's back downstairs to clean the bedroom areas and then get back to viewing.

Speaking of Neely...

J.C. Superstar is coming to our "Cobb Energy Performance Arts Center". This is a new venue, so I think it might be a good excuse to check it out. IIRC, DR George, you had good things to say about Ted Neeley in this production?

I was working backstage with the wardrobe people, so I wasn't in the best position to actually see it.  I don't know how he acted the role, but he and the cast sounded great.  Ted certainly still has the voice.  I think it was Jose who said that that specific role is all his voice is good for anymore.  It may be true, but I think you'll like him...and the show.  Backstage, he was very nice to everyone. :)

DR Matth, I hope someday you will have time to watch a Bollywood movie...or two!

Or at least the musical scenes/production numbers (which are easily accessed via that DVD menu....I'm just sayin')

I'm hoping, hoping, hoping that I'll be getting my "Perfect Strangers" (seasons 1/2) today.

I'm also expecting a Toshiba upconverting DVD/VHS recorder/player.

There's nothing wrong with Larry that a Friday evening Margarita I.V. drip couldn't cure.

My tooth was fitted for its crown this a.m.

It was a 90-minute appointment and involved several "shots"...one seemed to go on "forever".

There was also something called an "ElectroSurge" involved.   And I didn't wanna know.....

Could Thursdays BE any more wonderful for TV?

It's frustrating for me because I have a regular Thursday night gig.  Oy--this making a living business is getting in the way of my television viewing.   ;D

From Jose:
Quote
I really have to say, that I really needed today.  Yesterday was one of those very rare days when I just wanted to get out of the biz.  Today, I was reminded just why I love I what I do, and why I want to continue doing it.

All professions have those down days, your seem to be fewer than most.  I'm glad you had a great day!

Have a good time in Memphis.

I also apologize for being snippy today.

Real family members are allowed to be snippy with each other, so you are allowed, because this is the very specail HHW family (which is beats out the Macbeths and Little Foxes anyday)!!!!!!!

The Michigan, which has the organ rising out of the orchestra pit, will be showing the film OLIVER! on Feb18.

Should I comment?  No, probably not.

No, that part is better, so I'm giving it a couple of days.  Marshall DRLaura has been sworn in to ask me on Sunday (and push me to do the right thing, if necessary).

That is a nice new avatar, but if you don't mind, I think it should be at the correct ratio...this way, you're less squished.

Listen, even I have three Bollywood movies (two of them courtesy of Hunky Mr. Barnum, but I even bought one-- granted it's at a friend's house waiting to be watched, and he has a new person in his life, so i may have to ask for it back)
