My DMIL had a biopsy on her thyroid today. She is sore & didn't want to eat. My brother-in-law made her eat ice cream, apple sauce and Jello with ready whip.

I got into bed at two, after not getting the phone call I was expecting. The phone rang twice, I had brief conversations, but other than that I managed to sleep until five. It's hard to tell if I feel a bit better but I think I do. Still, I'm conflicted about going tonight. I really should, but I'd have to shower and get dressed right now, as it starts at seven.

Good Evening!

I'm back from The Company Meet and Greet. And, lo and behold, they had food! Pizza, pulled pork BBQ, assorted dips, breads, crackers, coldcuts, and a quite sizeable dessert table. And since I didn't have dessert earlier, well...

*I think the Peanut Butter and Jelly Thumbprint Cookies were my favorite.
