And while I was at the Meet and Greet I happened to run into a couple of friends and former "bosses".  I also ran into a young woman who looked very familiar.  She was there with her husband, who also looked very familiar to me.  We both were giving each other that "I know I know you" look, so, after basically comparing resumes, we finally realized where we had met before.  In fact, I had actually music directed both her and her husband in two shows a couple of years ago down in Florida.

Thankfully(?), all three of us had "forgotten" each other, so the whole reunion was not really that awkward.  Just funny, in a sort of embarrassing way.

Theatre is great like that, isn't it?  ;D

DR elmore et all - The Lady in question is the fantastically talented and kind Kristen Blodgette.  She's the Associate Conductor/Musical Director for Mary Poppins.  If you IBDB and/or Google her, you'll come quite an impressive list of credits.

*And I have to say, that that picture does not do justice to either David or Brad.  Both men are much more handsome - and dare I say, hotter - in person.  ;)

Well, now that I think of it... The theatre we working at at the time was going through some "turmoil" - which also included firing the director for one of the shows a week before we opened.  It was a bit difficult and sad time.  I guess we all blocked it out.  ;)

I did the right thing and stayed home.  I really still am very queasy.  I guess I won't eat anything at all today and hope for the best tomorrow.  Unless anyone has any suggestions, food-wise that they think wouldn't make me more queasy.

bk - You should eat something.  Low-blood sugar isn't going to make you feel any better.  What else did you eat yesterday?  Or over the past couple of days?  In any case, to play it safe, at least eat some rice, drink some apple juice.  Just go to a Chinese carry-out place and buy a pint of rice.  If you plan on taking on any medicine, having some food in your stomach will also be a good thing.

The duck is a female common goldeneye, which, according to a local birding guy, is worth posting to the local rare bird list.

So, I signed up to post on the rare bird alert, and I thought I posted it, but it's not there. I wonder where it ended up?

Dry toast helps me.
I find Basmati better than regular rice.

Hope you feel better by the morning.

As for tonight's "regular" episode of "Lost".... WOW!

and may I add that Jeff Fahey is STILL totally hot; though in a much more mature Marlboro man way.

Favorite spots tonight (SPOILERS)*********************

Finding the PB in Tunisia!  NOT Peanut Butter, btw.  Nor any relation to the jazz song.
Ben's closing line, and the action leading up to it.

BK - If you're stomach is feeling better tomorrow, I'd also advise staying away from fatty foods for another day or so.  No hamburgers, no mac'n'cheese, no caesar salads, etc.

I'm off.  I need to go to my sister's house for a bit.  Mamma Mia! is coming to Seattle and we got tickets!  My sister saw the show in Las Vegas, so this will be the first time that she's (ever, I think) seen a stage show more than once...including one's that I've been in.

According to Ye Olde Bathroom Scale effective today I am 16 pounds lighter than I was then
