DR td, will you still spend some of your hours each week in the book area?

Oh, yes!

As of yesterday, I am no longer a temporary employee:  I signed the paper stating that I am now to be a permanent employee, therefore, I'll be trained in every area of the store, very soon.   ;D

The in studio sparkling repartee segments must have been fascinating that day department:  Just got a February 1964 Indianapolis TV News to see what was happening in Frances land.  On Saturday, February 22, her film was "Ring of Fear," described as "A mental patient seeks revenge."  Starring Pat O'Brien.  She must have had a field day.   :o

I think DRs Ben and Elan may have a second career opportunity as forensic typist investigators.

Heck, there's enough crimes committed at HHW to keep them quite busy!  ;)

Congratulations, DR td, on your permanent status with Border's.  Have I ever mentioned that I started shopping at Border's when it was an 800-square-foot used bookstore in Ann Arbor, Michigan?

No baristas in that location!

Can I send some of the PDX employees to the same training session?   ;D

Congrats!

Believe it or not, I actually have a forensic science background, although I never studied computer crime...

I went out to the garage to package up a couple of things and found a package from the other day that I forgot to ship - I hate when that happens.  I'll ship it out today around two.

Leaving early today for a doctor's appointment - nothing life-threatening.

Bye for now.

I splashed balsamic vinegar from my lunch salad all over my basically white shirt.  I'm trying to stay at my desk and not walk about too much, lest people think that they have sent in the clowns.

Where in the heck did you get that, slingblade?  My grandmother, two aunts, an uncle, and several cousins have lived or live in Coupeville.

Oh!  Well, then you can get the sailor's phone numbers from your relatives.   ;D

I can well imagine DR TCB knowing a Shifty Sailor or two!

DR TCB, is that a real bow tie you're wearing, or a clip-on?

I have tried to master the art of tying a real bow tie, but it eludes me...  :(

Is anyone else as "jazzed" as I am by today's Gold Box over at Amazon.com?

I could just dance a jig, I'm so excited by it!

What is a Gold Box?

What does it mean?

Is it a banjo?

Or a tambourine?

Is it some crazy snake charmer's routine?
