And I did want to mention how sad I was to read about the death of Roy Scheider.

I wonder if the upload folder is still full. I'm assuming bk will tell us when it's been emptied.

I watched another disc of GIRLFRIENDS episodes this afternoon. I have 6 more episodes to go plus another bonus featurette.

I also had time to skim through AS THE WORLD TURNS. No gay boys, and they weren't featured on tomorrow's show either.

Who knew sugar dust was flammable??!!??

Well, to pick a nit - sugar dust is not flammable, it can not sustain a flame from a low temperature ignition source like a match; like many other dusts (coal, grain, pollen, flour, powered milk), it is, however, capable of combustion if ignited under pressure - it can also self-ignite "spontaneous combustion".

Liquid gasoline can burn, but only gasoline vapor under pressure can explosively combust. (We shan't get into Stoichiometry.)

But you are definitly wise to worry about the "fairy dust" - we know it can flame!

I just read that ABC has given early renewals for next season to the following shows:

"Pushing Daisies," "Private Practice," "Samantha Who?" and "Dirty Sexy Money."

In addition to those four new shows, ABC gave early pick-ups to "Desperate Housewives," "Grey's Anatomy," "Lost," "Ugly Betty" and "Brothers & Sisters."

No word yet on BOSTON LEGAL, MEN IN TREES, or WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB.

I really liked last night's BROTHERS & SISTERS. But really missed Rob Lowe. He makes the show for me.

Thanks for the info on GOSSIP GIRLS DR MattH. I love that show!

I'll head out there at five today, but I think when we're actually in rehearsal I'll leave at three-thirty or four to try to avoid the traffic, then just have a leisurely meal pre rehearsal.

When I left the area almost 4 years ago, the San Bernardino (10), the Pomona (60) and the Riverside (91) freeways all started getting chocked up by 4 PM - and Friday was hopeless!

I suggest you buy a helicopter.

You asked for an explanation, der Brucer, and I gave you the reasons why I felt it was important FOR ME. I said at the start of the explanation that what you had was fine for you.

I know - I was just bemoaning my misfortune.

I've already decided that there will be no Friday rehearsals until absolutely necessary, perhaps the week before we open.  My plan is to hopefully have two full eight hour weekend rehearsal days, and two to three three hour sessions on the week nights.

Yes, DR Jeanne - it is surprisingly difficult to find a quiet restaurant where you can just talk.

Last week, I went out to eat with some friends who are on the shy side but I thought should get to know each other, so I purposely picked a decent (but not great) place where I knew the service was lousy, and we'd be left alone.  It worked beautifully (although it did take some doings to get refills and the check).

It's snowing like crazy - those big stick out your tongue and try to catch them flakes - and I've had a very busy day, so I think I'll head home.  It's time for lunch..lol...I didn't have time for it earlier

I've already had a couple consultations from my ad in the Spanish language newspaper Mundo Latino.  That's pretty cool. It's only been in there twice.

Productive day, thus far.  I'm cleaning and futzing around the condo.  Washed clothes, changed bed linens, am now going through a box of old bills and gettin' read to fire up the shredder.

For din-din tonight, N.Y. strip steak!

Now, I guess I'll do a little writing and then head down to clean the dining room (didn't get to it this morning) and then back to viewing.

Does one put the ice down the pants first, or the seltzer?

I'll leave that up to you!
