Where on earth did you ever come up with that?

Well, I was Googling images of Abraham Lincoln, and that was one of the options that popped up!  :)

I have listened to "Mass" a few times and it probably deserves another listen soon.

DR Matthew - I encourage you to do so, and do it with the vocal score open in front of you!   :)

Thanks, DR Singdaw!  Won't be long before I'll get to prepare the 2008 version of that feast - Easter's so early this year.

Nice!  I may need to forward this to the director of Seussical that I'm in production with at the moment.

Be my guest, DR Matthew!  Wouldn't it be fun to serve GE&H at the cast party?

I was thinking the same thing, although it's a middle school production, not sure how the green eggs would be received.  I wouldn't be surprised if the parents in charge of the party is doing some sort of theme along those lines anyhow :)

DR Matthew - you do know those green eggs are Jell-o?  This kind of thing was a real hit when I used to take it to covered dish dinners put on by DS Rob's Scout troop - middle school age boys.

Choosters and cows, oh my!

I used to enjoy choosters series of self portraits, myself...but then I also like singing Hindustanis.

RIGHT  - I knew I recognized those molds, I actually have a set.  It might be a fun treat for my orchestra.  Thanks DR Ginny!

Good grief!  That isn't Gary Berghoff, is it?

Oh, glad you already have the molds, because the link I tried to post didn't work (thus a deleted post).  As I said, I love the admonition not to swallow the eggs whole  :P

I'll have to catch up later.  Der Brucer wants us to find some dry ice.

In this weather, no less!   :-\

My Dear Mother-in-law called the doctor for the results of her biopsy.  He won't give them to her until her appointment on the 19th.  ???

It never warmed up here. It's just as overcast (we had a little rain earlier, but it was a gentle rain and didn't last long) and very chilly as it was thing morning.

I began my afternoon of viewing with two episodes of THE ODD COUPLE. First came Oscar and Felix's trip to the Caribbean where Felix, ditched by Oscar and his girl Nancy, invented the calypso song "Oscar, Oscar, Oscar." Hilarious.

In the second one I watched, Oscar saved Felix's life, and Felix spent the rest of the episode thanking him in ways that became increasingly irritating. One of my favorite episodes from Season 2.

Next, I watched a Godard film I had never seen before PIERROT LE FOU. It's a grab bag of seemingly everything Godard could think of to throw into the movie. Simple story surrounded by absurdity, all in the nature of "free cinema" which he so strongly espoused.

I can see why it wasn't a hit in its day. It's certainly an interesting experiment, and Belmondo is his usual gorgeous self. Anna Karina was married to Godard at the time, so naturally the camera lingers on her. She does have a small but lilting singing voice. (Yep, he threw in a couple of musical numbers for her that come in out of nowhere.)

As in, "I'd love to kiss ya, but I just washed mah 'Heir'"?

Since when did freshly washed hair/heir get in the way??
